Don't forget, not only has he flipped off fans on a couple of occasions (while a face), after he beat ADR at Elimination Chamber he got on the turnbuckle , told the crowd to go *Censored* themselves, pointed at the crowd then pointed straight at his knob (obviously implying something).
The bit from Elimination Chamber was shown on the most recent Botchamania.

I do believe this was legit, Dave's been known to be a crybaby for a few years.

By the way, he was meant to be face at Elimination Chamber.

Batista is the new Stone Cold.

Don't even.

Not a chance Batista is stupid enough to deck a fan, especially a Radio Host (I'm 100% certain he knew who the sponsor of the show was and such). If they run with heel Batista like this I can dig it. Solid way to work the sheets, I'm sure we would have seen something more about this if it wasn't a work if they were the show sponsor.

This is obviously to get heat and main stream news to cover it.

Someone mentioned Punk punched a fan. When was that?

I know he's had his moments with house show fans like "You Have A Vagina" or "Your A TNA Fan" etc. but I don't remember hearing him hit somebody.

I'll be honest; it looks like the guy on the left keeps shoving Punk, then the guy directly behind accidentally hits him so Punk reacted towards the wrong guy.

The guy that didn't do it always is the one who gets punched or shoved. Look at other sports like when Ron Artest went up into the stands to confront the guy that threw a drink on him, and he punches the dude that didn't do anything. Wrestlers especially should be careful because they can really hurt someone.

I have read different reports saying that Carson hit Batista first, and that caused Batista to retaliate.

Either way, this strongly seems like a work, and I usually don't cry work when stuff like this happens.

- As noted, Batista was involved in an incident at ringside with local radio DJ Cam Carson at WWE's live event in Winnipeg this weekend. It was believed that the incident was planned as Carson's employer was the main local sponsor for the live event. According to a fan in attendance, the two began arguing before Batista's match against Big Show. When Batista turned to enter the ring, the man hit Batista in the back. This caused Batista to shove him back int his chair. Carson tried hopping the rail but security stopped him and talked to him. After the match, Batista flipped Carson off, which led to Carson trying to hop the rail again but this time he was escorted out by security.

Word is that the incident was not planned by WWE and that Carson was intoxicated. He was legitimately escorted out of the building by security after the incident.

A mother of two kids wrote to Carson on Twitter and said that they were trampled on during the incident. She noted that her 11 year old son left the arena with a limp and was forced to sit on the bench during his local playoff hockey game the next day. Carson apologized to the mother. He says he will speak on the incident Monday morning so stay tuned for an update.

So basically, Carson's fault? At least all Batista did was shove the guy back down when he could have punched him.

What did he think he would've done after jumping the rail? Batista would've wrecked the shit out of him.

What the *Censored*? Is this report real?

 Remember when you guys were hyped about Batista? Hmmm...

We just didn't want him to win the Rumble.

This. If he wasn't booked to win the Rumble, fans wouldn't have turned on him, and he wouldn't be a heel. We're allowed to change opinion too.

I guess this was really legit. In the back of my mind I wanted to believe it in the first place.

Well, this has been an unexpected turn of events. "Deal with it!"

hahah I was totally wrong. I hadn't read that Carson allegedly hit him first. He's an idiot for doing so, he's lucky Batista didn't knock him out. He may not be the best MMA fighter, but even the bad ones can throw a good punch.

So yeah...

I don't really believe this report...According to a fan on twitter (shown on the first page) who was sitting next to Carson, he had shoved Dave when he was making his entrance (because he was quite intoxicated) and he got shoved down into his seat. The rest of the report is exactly what the fan said, though.
So at this point, until we see a video or some rock-solid evidence to the contrary, I don't think he hit Dave.

Does it really matter if it was a punch or a shove? Fact is, that dude is in the wrong, and Batista retaliated in the same way that anyone else would have. Actually, he did well not to knock that *Censored* out.

Also, you're saying you don't believe a report made out by a fan in attendance saying he did hit Dave, but you're also saying that you believe someone who was also in attendance, because they said he didn't hit him? Couldn't I then also say unless we get some solid proof, then I think he did hit Dave?
