So yeah, post anything that happened recently in your life that's positive whether it's having an amazing cupcake or getting married or whatever. If it had a positive impact, big or small, feel free to share. Guess I'll get things rolling. Today was pretty good. Went out and applied for a job at HMV and EB Games. I think I have a good chance of getting accepted to at least one of them, which is great as I love both places. Also picked up a cupcake with a cheesecake filling, which was delicious. Did some yoga earlier today which left me feeling good afterwards. Also met a guy online a few days ago and we've been having long and good conversations lately. Don't have many people to talk to so it's nice to have a conversation with someone new and interesting. I'm also basically over losing one of my good friends (more in depth explanation can be found here -> http://bit.ly/18NuYAe ). Still hurt he'd be that way but I have no time to waste with friends who can't accept me for who I am. All these things just leave me in a good mood right now, also just shaved and I love the feeling after I shave. Just feeling great right now lol. Generations Posted October 2, 2013 Report Share Posted October 2, 2013 I kinda took the "BS" in the other topic to refer to life in general...good or bad. But whatever. I'm turning 25 in 5 days. I'm not sure how to feel about that. It's kind of a cool milestone, I guess...but on the other hand, I still live at home. Living at home ain't so bad though. My parents are cool people, and they need help with stuff around here. It's not like I'm freeloading. Obviously I'd like to get out of here, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Anyways, yeah, was producing my own beat and made this sparse production that I'm not fully content with but I decided to rap over it with this 'work-in-progress' song I had written up and when I played it back and listened to it; I was happy. Mainly because I've never genuinely heard myself rap over an instrumental, this is the first time I've been trying out this sort of stuff. I often write raps and spit but a cappella. I'm just getting in my car and seeing where the road takes me. I've had quite a few ups and downs this year and I need to get away from it all. I've slowly been selling off most of my possessions, which is how I'm funding my trip. It's going to be the adventure of a lifetime, I can already tell. I have nothing against the work or the cost, but I don't drive...and I live in a complicated area as far as finding a place to stay...and finding a job near that place without driving. I wish I lived in a place that offered more as far as apartments and potential jobs...because I would definitely be out there working 10-12 hours a day if I had to. Just not an option right now. Set to graduate next year hopefully, getting a new guitar soon and I'm currently eating some cheez its listening to some Doors. Life's good.
