WWE NXT - PREVIEW

September 25th, 2013

Live! from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida

After Sasha Banks turned her back on the NXT universe two weeks ago thanks to influence from Summer Rae Paige is looking for redemption. She has enlisted Emma as her partner who has more than unfinished business with Summer Rae who attacked her after their match together a few weeks ago. Will the mean girls Summer & Sasha be able to take down fan favorites Emma & Paige?

After winning a match against rival CJ Parker Tyler Breeze found himself on the losing end of a six man tag team match when his partners abandoned him, leaving him to fend for himself. This week he faces Xavier Woods who's been on a roll as of late. Will Tyler Breeze be able to avenge his loss last week or will Xavier Woods reign supreme?

For weeks The Ascension has been feuding with Adrian Neville and Corey Graves. They have attacked Corey Graves backstage and beaten up Neville numerous times. The Ascension has had the upperhand these past few weeks and on NXT this week they finally get a tag team title shot. What team will walk out as Tag Team Champions?

Confirmed Matches

Emma & Paige vs. Sasha Banks & Summer Rae

Tyler Breeze vs. Xavier Woods

Adrian Neville & Corey Graves © vs. The Ascension

NOTES

WWE NXT
September 25th, 2013
Live! from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida

» We are ready for a brand new episode of WWE NXT coming to you live from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. As the official NXT opening video package begins to play across the screen you can hear the lively crowd cheer and chant, ready for some wrestling action! As the video package comes to an end the camera takes us inside Full Sail as we see a packed crowd tonight. The camera pans around once more until they land on the commentary team of Tony Dawson and William Regal as they introduce us to yet another brand new exciting episode of NXT.

» The show kicks off with NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes in the ring talking about how momentous today is now that NXT is now on worldwide television and how it;s now two hours. He also mentions that now the world can see the future of WWE and he couldn't be prouder of all the divas and superstars in the back. He is soon interrupted by none other than Stephanie McMahon who begins to congratulate him on NXT expanding however, not to get comfortable. She mentions that he has been absent as a commissioner for NXT and he needs to step it up or run the risk of being replaced. She mentions that The Shield started in NXT and that Dusty needs to clean things up a bit for the good of the future of WWE. She once again states that she's watching him very closely and she can't wait to see what he has in store for NXT's future as the show goes into a short commercial break.

» We are welcomed back to NXT when the cameras quickly take us to the backstage area where we see a group of medical personnel attending to Sami Zayn who is seen knocked out cold on the floor, seemingly a victim of what looks to be some sort of backstage attack. The medical team continue to work on Zayn as NXT heads to the ring for the opening match…

Aiden English vs. Mickie Keegan
- The opening contest for NXT sees the first ever man to transition from the theatre to the world of sports entertainment, Aiden English take on Mickie Keegan. English makes his entrance with the spotlight on him, showing off his singing chops, proclaiming that he will win this match. The two lock up and Aiden gets the upperhand almost instantly and remains in control of the match. Aiden shows off his skill as a wrestler and quickly puts Keegan away with his finisher. Post match English grabs a microphone and sings about how he won his match.

» The cameras take us to the backstage area where we see Sylvester LeFort walking around backstage. He knocks on a door and out comes "Big Cass" Colin Cassidy. Sylvester tells him he needs to speak to him about something very important. He tells Colin to follow him as this conversation needs to be held in private. Once the two get to a private place LeFort asks Cassidy to join his team as he could make him a superstar if he left Enzo. Cassidy tells him no and before he can utter another word Scott Dawson and Alexander Rusev attack him from behind, beating him down to the floor before leaving. LeFort says that no one turns him down and gets away with it before fleeing the scene…

Alexander Rusev w/ Sylvester LeFort vs. Enzo Amore
- With Colin Cassidy attacked backstage Enzo Amore was left to fend for himself in this match alone against the much bigger Rusev who had Sylvester LeFort in his corner giving him the numbers advantage in this match as well. Enzo takes it to Rusev early on in the match, exploding with hard forearms, trying to get the advantage of the match early on and letting out his anger at Rusev attacking Colin Cassidy before the match. However, Rusev's strength gets the better of Amore as he's tossed halfway across the ring like a rag doll. Rusev remains in control until he hoists Amore up onto his shoulders which allows Amore to roll him up, but only for a two count! Amore quickly gets up trying to follow up on the move, running against the ring ropes but LeFort grabs him by his foot! Amore turns around and goes to grab at LeFort but in doing so he's made a fatal mistake. Rusev comes up behind Amore and delivers a German Suplex to give himself the win!

» After the match comes to an end Sylvester LeFort climbs into the ring to celebrate with his client Alexander Rusev. LeFort takes the microphone and begins to proclaim that this is just the beginning for Rusev and The Legionnaire which includes Scott Dawson. He proclaims that his clients are destined for greatness and all of NXT should be worried.

» The cameras head backstage as we see WWE Diva Summer Rae alongside Sasha Banks in the divas locker room. Summer begins to tell Sasha how glad she is that she took her advice she gave her and she finally woke up. She tells Sasha how she's flattered that she's following in her footsteps, doing things to make sure she gets noticed and tonight the two of them will reign supreme over Emma and Paige.

Emma & Paige vs. Sasha Banks & Summer Rae
- Emma and Summer Rae start out the match but Summer quickly hightails it to her corner and tags in Sasha Banks before Emma can even touch her, garnering loud jeers from the crowd. Sasha enters the ring and locks up with Emma and gains control by stepping on Emma's feet, allowing her to lock in a headlock. Sasha remains in control until she misses a clothesline in the corner, allowing Emma to lock in the DilEMMA in the corner. After locking in the submission hold both girls tag in their respective partners who go at each other with Paige getting the better of Summer Rae. Summer manages to escape The Paige Turner and hit Paige with a spinning heel kick. Summer grabs Paige only for Paige to ram her into the corner with a shoulder tackle. With Summer in her own corner Sasha blind tags herself into the match. Paige and Summer continue to fight in the corner and Sasha comes up behind Paige and rolls her up, holding onto her tights for leverage as the referee counts to three, giving Sasha and Summer the win!

» A video package begins to play, hyping up the debut of Solomon Crowe who will be debuting "soon" as the video promo says. It shows Crowe in a dark room laughing maniacally as "Father James" begins to inform the audience that NXT isn't going to know what hits them when The New Horror makes his debut.

Leo Kruger vs. Mason Ryan
- Mason Ryan has been on a winning steak as of late in NXT and tonight he faces Leo Kruger who looks to put a stop to that. Mason Ryan gets control of the match early on, knocking Kruger down with a hard clothesline, showing off his brute strength. The tide turns in Leo Kruger's favor when Ryan misses a big boot attempt, allowing Leo Kruger to lock in a sleeper hold, slowly getting Mason Ryan down to the mat. Mason Ryan manages to get back to his feet and backs Kruger into the corner a few times, causing him to release the hold. Mason goes to pick Kruger up in a scoop slam but Kruger slips off the back and turns Ryan around, connecting with a closed fist. Kruger follows it up with Kruger's End for the three count win against Mason Ryan.

» We head backstage where we see new NXT Diva Devin Taylor walking around. We see WWE Superstar Curt Hawkins come up to her and begin flirting with her. She says that she's faltered but not really interested in dating as she wants to focus on her career. Hawkins states that he could make her career if she dated him and he's the best thing in NXT. Alex Riley comes in and tells of Curt Hawkins, telling him to leave Devin alone. The two men get in each others face and Hawkins challenges Riley to a match later tonight which Riley agrees to. Hawkins storms off as Devin thanks Riley for standing up for her…

Tyler Breeze vs. Xavier Woods
- Xavier woods gets the better of Tyler Breeze who's out to fend for himself after last week by taking him down with several arm drags and a dropkick to top things off, Breeze gets himself into the corner and Xavier woods rolls forward and leaps into a hard clothesline, gaining control of the match. Tyler Breeze turns things in his favor after rolling through a sunset flip and connecting with a dropkick to the face of Woods. Breeze takes this time to grab his phone and take a selfie and Xavier woods delivers a hard dropkick, sending Breeze out of the ring. Xavier runs the ropes and leaps over the top rope, connecting with a diving cross body press onto Breeze on the outside. Both men get up and Xavier woods goes for Breeze only to be tripped, crashing head first into the mat. Breeze rolls Woods back into the ring and searches for his phone however CJ Parker runs out and grabs Tyler Breeze's phone before he can, distracting him. Xavier Woods grabs Breeze by his hair and drags him into the ring before delivering his finisher, The Culture Shock for the three count!

» The cameras take us backstage where we see Renee Young alongside NXT Tag Team Champions Adrian Neville and Corey Graves. They talk about how tonight Ascension gets the title shot they've been waiting for and how they both can't wait for Conor and Rick to Stay Down. Renee mentions that Corey has been victim of several attacks and if that will effect him in the match tonight but before Corey can answer Neville answers for him and tells Renee that it only has lit a fire in him. Adrian walks away as Corey begins to follow, looking very angry…

Alex Riley vs. Curt Hawkins
- After sticking up for new NXT Diva, Devin Taylor Alex Riley found himself back in in ring competition facing Curt Hawkins in a singles match. Curt Hawkins attacks Riley before the bell rings, turning things into his favor and he continues using dirty tactics to keep the match in his hand. Hawkins takes Riley down with a hard flying forearm smash, goes for the pin but only gets a two count. Hawkins quickly follows it up with a suplex and goes for a pin once again only to get a two count. Hawkins quickly locks in a chin lock onto Riley and as he does Devin taylor makes her way down to the ring. She slams on the ring apron, getting the crowd to cheer for Riley, allowing him to get enough strength to break the hold. Riley and Hawkins get to their feet and Riley takes Hawkins down with a scoop slam before following it up with a hard kick before planting Hawkins into the mat with the Riley Elevation to score the win!

» As NXT returns from a commercial break we see a very angry Sami Zayn inside the ring he calls out Bo Dallas who he says attacked him backstage earlier tonight. Bo Dallas comes out and he says he did no such thing and would never hurt him as he's his friend. Sami demands a match with Bo right here right now but Bu claims he's still recovering from an injury he obtained at SummerSlam Axess which brings out NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes. Dusty says that as soon as Bo is healed from his injury Sami will get his match against Bo but as for tonight he's not letting him compete but next week he'll face off against visiting WWE Superstar, Fandango.

Adrian Neville and Corey Graves © vs. The Ascension
- After weeks and weeks of sneak attacks The Ascension finally gets a shot at the tag team titles. Corey Graves and Rick Victor start things out for their respective teams with Corey gaining advantage early on after locking up, overpowering Rick Victor. Victor manages to slip away and tag in O'Brian who comes in like a house of fire, knocking down Graves with hard clotheslines and finally with a big boot. Conor remains in control thanks to his size advantage until Corey Graves crawls through his legs, tagging in his partner Adrian Neville. Neville uses his speed and agility to one up O'Brian until O'Brian catches Neville when he leaps off the top rope, slamming him down to the mat. Neville manages to crawl away from Conor after delivering a hard enziguri and goes to tag in Corey Graves, but Graves drops down off the ring apron, waves at Neville and walks away leaving Neville to fend for himself. This allows The Ascension to hit The Fall of Man to pick up the win and become the new NXT Tag Team champions!

» NXT goes off the air as Conor and Rick hold their newly one NXT Tag Team Titles as we see Corey Graves at the top of the stage clapping, proud of what he did. The audience boos as the camera focuses on the Ascension before the screen goes black, ending this episode of NXT.

NXT News & Notes

- Several fans reported seeing Evan Bourne and Tyson Kidd at the site of the NXT tapings this week. Our sources are saying that we could see them wrestle at NXT before they return to the main roster.

- With NXT being revamped a little, going to two hours and now being shown on Ion Television don't be surprised to see some WWE superstars pop up at NXT shows. Fandango and Rob Van Dam are special guest at this months tapings and it's being said that several WWE stars not being used at TV will be showing up.

- With changes comes a few releases. NXT have released Adam Mercer, Jason Jordan, Malik Omari, Mickie Keegan, and Sawyer Fulton. WWE and NXT wish them all the best in their future endeavors. The reason behind most of the releases were that they were not progressing enough. Adam Mercer on the other hand just stopped showing up to training.

- Many people were wondering who "Father James" was in the debut promo for Solomon Crowe. It is none other then James Mitchell of TNA fame. Apparently they have big plans for Crowe and NXT felt James Mitchell would be a perfect fit with him.

- With more divas being signed to NXT theirs talk among NXT staff about getting more trainers for the girls. Currently Sara Del Rey is the only female trainer and they are looking to hire more now that the performance center is complete. NXT wants to make sure that the divas are more than prepared whethey get to the main roster.

- NXT held tryouts this past week that several big indy names attended. It's being said quite a few people were handed out contracts, As soon as we know who was signed we'll update you. With NXT getting a global TV deal WWE wants to make sure they have top talent competing on the show every week.

NOTES

Hope you all enjoy the first show I had fun writing it.

I am adding the new divas. Thought I already listed them but I didn't.

This is great. Really looking forward to reading more.

Some quick notes:

- Cool to see you doing something with Aiden English. I'm a big fan of his.

- Sami Callihan and Father James Mitchell would be an awesome pairing in real life. Excited to see what you've got in store for them.

- The dirtsheet thing at the end is a really nice touch. I'm interested to see which 'big indy names' you'll sign.

Keep it up!

After Bayley pinned Alicia Fox in a tag team match a few weeks ago Alicia Fox makes her way back to NXT to face off against Bayley in singles competition. The former Divas Champion is out to avenge her loss to the newbie Bayley. Will Alicia be able to walk away with the win or will Bayley sneak in another victory?

Sami Zayn has had many amazing matches against several main roster superstars and this week he faces off against visiting superstar Fandango.
