Can't play it on chrome too which is *censored*ing stupid#firstworldproblemsCan't find my bong.What does it look like? (I'm not trying to help find it, I'm just curious).It looks like a thumbs up. Atm, it's from 9 till whenever my brother finishes off to come and take over from me which is usually around 1 o clock sometimes even 2. It means pretty much no going out at night for most of the week. Working evenings and weekends is a bitch. Yep. I only get the Sunday off. Making some good money though, so I can't really complain but I'm hoping to swap the shifts soon. Hate sitting there being bored while my other friends have all the fun. Storm of Sand Posted August 8, 2013 Report Share Posted August 8, 2013 Can't seem to get a job, I've applied for just over 100 jobs (I think about 120ish) and I've only had 3 people get back to me for interviews. I've had to apply for jobs everyday otherwise I won't get my £100 every 2 weeks from the Jobcentre. Hopefully at the end of the month me, my dad & my brother will find out whether we're going to be kicked out of our house my brainwashed mother, who's most definitely not the person I remember. On a lighter side of things, a girl who I've grown up with, along with her sister, since our teens has came back to visit friends in the summer, and I've been kind of flirting with her a bit. I'm sure she knows it anyways. We've been having a few conversations and asking how we've been. I've said it's nice to see her again. Her parents are very nice, I remember when I had a Mohawk, her mum would always pat my Mohawk after saying hello (always made me laugh). I'll give it a shot with the girl, I think she's in University, so I wont have too long to ask her. I didn't see her on this last Tuesday like I usually do, but I may see her on Sunday as me & my dad are usually the door men (kind of like bouncers just to keep people safe) at our local church. I still remember around Christmas nearly 2 years ago and when she saw me, I got an unexpected hug from her, that was cool I guess. I thanked her for being nice and it was nice to see again after a while on Sunday & gave her a hug. Very pretty girl, and I'm sure there's other guys that would want to go out with her like me. I get that employers want people who already have some idea what they are doing, but how the hell is anyone ever supposed to get any experience if everyone thinks like that? Anywho my damn dealer *censored*ing about. Rang up and said she'll be home in 5 mins, went round 20 minutes later and she's not there. Rang up and she'll be back in an hour and text me when she's back. It's been 4 hours. I want it more because I can't have it :s. It's difficult enough these days to even join recruitment agencies. I may get some stick here, I don't know, but the problem is we're letting far too many people into the country. It'll get worse next year if the immigration restrictions are removed for Bulgaria and Romania. If there isn't enough work for UK residents, there has got to be a point where the Government says no. There are jobs out there but the worst hit are low skilled jobs like manual labour and this is the kind of work that the majority of immigrants are seeking when they arrive in the UK. There are arguments that a lot of unemployed are content with their status but the government is making it easier for that minority with the lack of jobs that are available to them. I mean I don't really mind or hate other EU people but it's sort of getting ridiculous now and it is hurting the government itself and the economy with the amount of people who are unemployed and government having to provide for them. It's not even just that them people are taking all the jobs, they are even willin' to work minimum wage rate no matter what the job is. We had some new recruitments these past weeks and got a Polish lady who has joined. Upon asking her to discuss what sort of salary she would be willing to work with on the interview, she said, she doesn't care. She will be more than happy with the minimum wage rate. I don't quite think they understand that this place is a well-known shithole of the United Kingdom and that I'm trying to do whatever I can to live elsewhere.
