Jack Russell!

"Daniel Bessel? What a stupid name, haha!" Although Jack Russell is not too keen on Daniel Bessel's name, he is well aware that the man is a mighty fine competitor, and could very well end Jack's undefeated streak here in Down Under Wrestling. As a result of this, Jack has been training ever so intensley since hearing that he would be facing of against the said competitor. Although the initial reaction to Daniel Bessel's name by Jack Russell suggests that he has never ever heard of the man before, he is actually very educated on the subject. Jack is aware that Daniel is mighty warrior, as touched upon, and is also very respectable both inside and outside of the ring, much like Jack Russell himself. They should be bro's.

It had been a while since anyone had seen or heard from the Princess of Joshi herself,Arika Suzuki. She hadnt had a match in a few weeks due to this Future Shock tournament going on for the most part of the month. This meant she could have some time to watch possible adversaries. So far shed seen nothing fairly impressive with the exception of April Devine becoming the first Paul Heyman Gal. Yes Paul Heyman was a genious with a great eye for talent, but didnt the Paul Heyman stable have three hundred people in it now? Bandwagon much? With that said Arika wasn't one for the bandwagons and she had no desire to even nudge shoulders with Heyman. However, April had something that Arika wanted and that was the Women's Championship and with no challengers named yet for the belt Arika still had a chance to get her shot all she needed was the opportunity to do so.

NICHOLAS LANCER | THE WETTEST DREAM

Well, his match is tomorrow night, and currently Nicholas Lancer is about to head out on a night on the town. There are only two women accompanying Nicholas tonight, as he doesn't wanna get too worked up before he faces one half of Doing the Job tomorrow night. But hopefully he doesn't get approached by Heyman to be a Heyman guy. Seriously, it was cool when he brought in Curtis Axel, but now everyone wants everyone to be a Paul Heyman guy, and it's like making love to a women: once everyone's piggybacked, no one else wants in.

Troy Pierce | Keep Calm and Tap Out

Agreed with that. Too many Paul Heyman guys around. Don't they know that quality > quantity? Less is more? But yeah, we haven't heard much from Troy today because he was pretty busy. So yeah, tomorrow is the show, Troy Pierce vs Randy Orton is on it. Troy Pierce is ready as he will ever be to take on the Viper in one-on-one contest. Troy Pierce wants to get in a submission victory, but making the Viper tap out is going to be a challenging task indeed. So right now Troy Pierce is chillaxing in his apartment, watching television, and eating some candy, LIKE A BOSS!

sense questing farm animals wasn't going anywhere, jeannie decides to put her investigation of the case of the missing dingo on hold tell she can come up with a better lead, she gets bored and decides to play a different game and changes into a news reporter costume and tells donna to get a camera

now what are you up too

your going to help me film the first episode of jeannie's super awesome wrestling new show

what?

i'm going to make a talk show about the wrestling stuff, okay so our first story is that kanes partner dingo was kidnaped pretty creepy,so if anybody has seen this guy,she shows her drawing of dingo,or these guy that are the suspects, she shows another drawing this time of the wyatt family, you showed call kane at 666,wait is these right donna i thought phonenumbers are longer

nope kanes a demon,so his numbers the number of the beast

yay i love iron maiden,ok in other news the undertaker is apparently the champ and has to defend against Prince Devitt and ted DiBiase wait isn't he retired?

?it's his son genius

oh anyway he has definitely got a lot of controversy around him as the boss handpicked guy to become champion, you got wonder how the rest of the heavyweight guys feel about being over looked for a guy that just showed up out of nowere

also the big tournament is under way and this week show is full of matches for it, the big one is the current Regional Champion is in action, you got think troy is the favorite seeing his been on a great streak but facing randy orton is no walk in the park however the viper real has lost his bite lately no being as successful here as he was in wwe, also troy being the submission master gives him the edge with the tournaments rewarding submission wins bigger

also in action is colt cobana, she holds up a sign with a number on it and makes a call me sigh with her hand

 jeannie try to be professional

oh sorry yeah colt had a huge upset when in his first match and looks to play giant killer again facing brrrroooockk lessnarrrr  he donna think my paul hayman impression was good

yeah i guess so

colt wants to win for his buddy punk who got hurt and was out of the tournament,i think its really sweet of his to do that,so i hoping for another upset for duw's giant killer, also wade barrett takes on christian which i'm not sure who to root for wades a big meanie that makes us other british people look bad cause we all aren't snoddy jerks, and christian went bad so these one will just be the battle of the doody heads,in another tournament match there is a guy with the same name as cutie doggies, :) hope he wins i love puppys oh and then there a match with two guys i'm not really sure who they are so yeah kinda got nothing for that one sorry

:nono: you real should know these things

well it's my first time so i'll get better at it besides i', pretty busy being a wrestler, detective and reporter all at the same time is hard  any way thats it for our pre show tune in next time for my after show show, bye bye

jeannie blows a kiss to the camera

April Divine
Headbutting people was far more punk than playing guitar hero. And another thing which is totally punk rock, was that April didn't care what anyone had to say about her, especially those who were calling her a sell out. What the fans thought and what the other wrestlers thought didn't matter at all to her, because while they might never admit it, they were all just jealous that she now had such a bright future in this business. She was special, and together with Paul Heyman they were going to take over the world. As of right now however she was just hanging out in her locker room, which wasn't exactly sufficient for a champion and the biggest homegrown star on the roster. It didn't even have her name on the door, something really there was no excuse for considering the length of time she was forced to spend in this place. She should have a room that properly reflected her status as a top star.

A submission master? Well, that's very flattering but that isn't true. Daniel Bryan is a submission master, so is that one guy who has been said to have killed his wife and his child in a fit of roidrage or something. Well that didn't happen, because it's just a legend and there are no records of it. But anyways, you get the idea right? So anyways, Troy Pierce is getting tired, he is on his personal computer. He has his mind prepared for Randy Orton tomorrow, but Jon Davis is still in the back of Troy's mind, need to find out more about him. So Troy Pierce puts his name in google, and gets the lead vocalist for the band Korn. That doesn't sound right...

Daniel Bessell
Well sorry if Jack Russell didn't like Daniel's name. No, wait a second, tough shit. The Velvet Sledgehammer didn't like Jack's name either, or his stupid gimmick or his dumb face. Or the way he always smells like he just stepped in a fresh pile of dog crap. Same with most every other dumbass on this roster, there was something or other about the man he just didn't care for. However as the babyface he was Daniel still had the tactfulness to keep it impersonal. All he cared about was scoring those goddamn points. He didn't want to be Jack's "bro" half as much as he wanted to repeatedly punch the dude in his face, especially when he thinks back to the cheap victory Russell had stolen from him last time. A decent bloke wouldn't have accepted a tainted win such as that. If Daniel remembers correctly, he didn't even give his commiseration or any kind of acknowledgment that he only won due to interference, after that match Jack Russell simply celebrated like nothing was wrong. And why not he had just won the lottery. But not today because Bessell was on this time, and nothing was going to get in the way of him doing what he needed to do to keep himself alive in this tournament. Nothing. He was backstage pacing up and down his locker room right now, getting himself revved up just thinking about it.

Davey Joe || Straight-Edge

Today was a long day since there was nothing to do all day. Nothing in the hallways, nothing the his locker room, nothing in the green room. There was literally nothing to do inside of the arena, but was stuck in it all day waiting for Bill's response. Because, if Bill wasn't going to respond to him. He was going to make another gesture that will ensure that Dave will get a response from the boss. Yeah, a response from his hypocritical boss and hey. If he's lucky, he might get that ass kisser Ted sicked on him. Ted might wanna clean his nose a little bit, because there is definitely some brown on it.

Well the searching by Kane and Undertaker for Dingo and the world title have led to nowhere. That's where the two of them where yesterday. They heard that they weren't the only ones looking for Dingo which is good stuff but really they also heard that they were talking to sheep to try and find Dingo And people say the Kane is crazy... anyway they've suspended the search for now, they'll wait until after the show tonight. Maybe the Wyatt Family will have Dingo and as such Kane can get him back? Taker would be more than happy to help in that instance if needed... Taker recalls that the GM said he would give the title back on Sunday so Taker will wait for that. Why's he been looking then? The GM would probably have hidden it somewhere. Probably a safe but it doesn't hurt to look and Taker may find Dingo on the way anyway. Neither are in action tonight but they will be seen if Dingo and or/the world title are shown tonight because those things don't belong to the people that stole them...

Speaking of which there were rumours going round that the GM is trying to make the triple threat world title match one sided towards Ted. Ugh, Taker liked you better when you were nice and not biased. Dammit GM! You say you're doing it because Taker put his hands on you? Didn't he only do that because you refused to do the three count on a tombstone? Seems that was your own fault... you know Taker's history with GMs screwing him over.

So anyways, we are back to the guy who still doesn't have a nickname yet, the Regional Champion, Troy Pierce. Troy Pierce is right now training at his gym of choice at the moment. At the way things are going, he will be as ready for the "Viper" Randy Orton as he will ever be. Troy Pierce still can't help that Jon Davis is going to play the part of an uninvited guest and attack him mid match. If he does, hopefully, just hopefully Jon Davis knows that picking on Troy is a lot different then playing with two jobbers and a referee. Troy Pierce is your Regional Champion for a reason.

SundayNightShowdown_zps7f590f0c.png

Latvian Hall ? North Adelaide, South Australia ? September 1, 2013

This edition of Sunday Night Showdown opens with the Down Under Wrestling Owner Bill Olson in the center of the ring with the Australian Heavyweight Championship belt over his left shoulder and a microphone in his right hand.

Bill Olson

“You all saw it…this past Thursday Night on Thunder I officiated the Australian Heavyweight Championship Match between Prince Devitt and the Undertaker and I called it right down the middle. There was no interference, the was no underhanded tactics…until…Undertaker put his hands on me…that’s when the match went south…I ended up on the mat, Devitt’s masked goons came out, Kane came out and long story short…Undertaker is the new DUW Australian Heavyweight Champion. Now…after the match on Thursday I said that somebody would be getting fired live here tonight and when I say things like that I mean them, this isn’t a gimmick, I’m not bringing anybody out here to kiss my ass and beg for their back so Dennis Cooper…come on down…..”

DUW Referee Dennis Cooper slowly makes his way out to the ring.

Bill Olson

“Come on Dennis! Get in here, we haven’t got all day!”

Dennis retrieves a microphone from ring girl Mia Lin and enters the ring.

Dennis Cooper

“Mr. Olson…I…I…..”

Bill Olson

“I…I…what are you doing, Dennis? You don’t need that microphone, I don’t want an explanation from you, I know why you did what you did…you wanted your moment in the spotlight, your own Earl Hebner moment…well…I hope it was worth it because…YOU’RE FIRED!”

It looks as though Cooper may actually start crying when he turns to leave the ring as Ted DiBiase, Jr. makes his way out to the ring, greeted by boos from the crowd before being handed a microphone by Bill.

Ted DiBiase, Jr. || The Boss’ Right Hand Man

“Dennis…I sincerely wish you the best in your future endeavors.”

Ted offers Dennis a handshake, Cooper is cautious of accepting it but DiBiase grabs hold of his hand anyway, shaking it for a couple of seconds before pulling Dennis into the Million Dollar Dream, Choking Cooper before dropping him to the mat which prompts Olson to roll a motionless Dennis out of the ring with his foot, after a few seconds, Dobbs & Taylor make their way out to ringside and drag Cooper backstage.

“I have seen the tweets asking me “why Ted why?” Well you wanna no why? I did this for two reasons. 1 – Because I know that to get were you want to be in life you got to take advantage of opportunities, Bill Olson got a hold of me and asked me do I want to be the hand picked opponent to face the Undertaker and I replied YES! I did not even hesitate I got some unfinished business as to why I want to beat Taker for the title. My father brought Undertaker into the WWE and did he ever thank my father for doing this? No he didn't! All that I have heard from people is that I sold my soul to the devil and to borrow a quote from a wise man "Everybody Has a Price" and Mr. Bill Olson chose the right guy to be his hand picked opponent. Quit booing or I’ll give you something to boo about! I shouldn't have to explain my actions, they say the cream rises to the top so I made sure that I had an insurance policy to get to the top and that insurance policy is Bill Olson, it doesn't get much than having the boss backing you. People don't be mad, I will be a champion you can be proud of and I know for a fact that I was chosen to run this company because of the fact of my raw ability alone. I don’t need the Future Shock Tournament as a shortcut to the main event, taking advantage of an injured or worn down champion. I will get to the top how superstars are intended to…how my father would’ve gotten to the top in of the WWE if it wasn’t for him being held down by management…by using my raw talent, my raw ability and ladies and gentleman…you can take that to the bank!”

As Bill and Ted are about to leave the ring the lights in the Latvian Hall go out. When the lights come back on, the Undertaker is in the ring and he unloads on DiBiase, hitting him with a flurry of Punches in the corner until Olson jumps on Undertaker’s back, Ted then charges out of the corner but runs straight into a Big Boot by Undertaker, leading to DiBiase rolling out to the arena floor. With Ted now out of the equation, Undertaker hits Bill with a Snapmare before dragging him back to his feet by the throat for a Chokeslam, DiBiase manages to save Olson however, pulling him out of the ring as Undertaker picks up the Australian Heavyweight Championship belt before the lights go out once again, when they come back on both Undertaker and the Australian Heavyweight Championship belt are gone.

Ed Brookes

“Well…that was quite the start to tonight’s show, Mike. Referee Dennis Cooper and the Undertaker finally has possession of HIS Australian Heavyweight Championship belt.”

Mike Ashcroft

“He might have the belt, Ed but I this isn’t the last he’s seen of Bill Olson and Ted DiBiase, Jr…especially after that attempted Chokeslam.”

Ed Brookes

“Well that remains to be seen, Mike but up next we have the first of four Future Shock Matches with Johnny Andrews up against Nicholas Lancer.”

Future Shock: Block-C Match

Johnny Andrews w/ Brandyn Tyler vs. Nicholas Lancer

The match starts with Johnny Andrews calling for the Lockup, just as Nicholas Lancer is about to go for it, Brandyn Tyler climbs up onto the ring apron and distracts him which allows Johnny to roll Nicholas up with a School Boy for a two count, following the kickout, Andrews attempts to bring Lancer back to his feet but Nicholas catches him with a Jawbreaker followed by a Dropkick into Brandyn, knocking him off the ring apron before Clotheslining Johnny over the top rope and to the arena floor.

As Brandyn Tyler and Johnny Andrews both groggily get to their feet on the outside of the ring, Nicholas Lancer takes them both out again with a Diving Crossbody from the top rope, Nicholas then tosses Brandyn into the side of the steel ring steps before rolling Johnny back into the ring for a two count, following the kickout, Lancer waits for Andrews to get back to his feet before attempting to hit him with the Ecstasy Driver which Johnny manages to counter with a Double Leg Slam transitioned into a Jacknife Pin for a two count.

Following the kickout, Johnny Andrews hits Nicholas Lancer with a trio of Shoot Kicks to the chest followed by a Roundhouse Kick attempt which Nicholas manages to block before Sweeping Johnny’s legs out from under him and locking him in a Single Leg Boston Crab which Andrews eventually manages to escape thanks to Brandyn Tyler grabbing Johnny’s arms and pulling him to the ropes which leads to senior referee Brian Jones banning Brandyn from ringside.

After confronting Brian Jones about banning Brandyn Tyler from ringside, Johnny Andrews turns his attention back to Nicholas Lancer and walks straight into an STO Backbreaker transitioned into a Reverse STO for a two count, following the kickout, Nicholas brings Johnny back to his feet and sets him up for the Ecstasy Driver which Andrews manages to counter with a Back Body Drop before hitting Lancer with a with a Roundhouse Kick to the side of the head followed up with a Jumping Neckbreaker.

Rather than going for the pinfall, Johnny Andrews heads up to the top rope and attempts a Diving Leg Drop which Nicholas Lancer narrowly avoids by rolling out of the way, as Johnny groggily gets back to his feet, Nicholas comes off the ropes with the Ecstasy Driver before following up with the Facial Deconstruction which Andrews reluctantly submits to after failing to make it to the ropes.

Winner: Nicholas Lancer

Ed Brookes

“That submission victory for Nicholas Lancer puts him way out in front of his Block-C opposition and it’s going to be a tall order for them to overtake him, especially considering that the man in second place…Kane…is preoccupied by the Undertaker’s situation and the kidna…..”

Ed is cutoff as the lights in the Latvian Hall go out and the following vignette plays.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xF4jQDcpJY

Mike Ashcroft

"Ever since Dingo Kid was kidnapped last Thursday Night on Thunder we've been why The Wyatt Family took him and where did they take him? What do they have planned for Kane? The vignette answered none of those questions...in fact...I'd say I have more questions about The Wyatt Family after seeing that than I have answers."

--------------------------------------------------

Future Shock: Block-D Match

Randy Orton vs. Troy Pierce

The match starts with Randy Orton and Troy Pierce circling the ring several times before Locking Up in the center of the ring with Randy quickly gaining control by backing Troy into the corner, Orton then attempts to take Pierce down with a Hip Toss which Troy manages to counter by holding on to Randy before taking him down with a Monkey Flip transitioned into a Rana Pin for a two count, following the kickout, Pierce attempts to lock Orton in the Keep Calm and Tap Out – Kneebar which Randy manages to counter by Kicking Troy off into the corner.

When Randy Orton gets back to his feet, he charges at Troy Pierce in the corner but gets caught with a Kick to the face, as Randy staggers backwards out of the corner, Troy comes off the top rope with a Moonsault Press for a two count, following the kickout, Pierce waits for Orton to begin getting back to his feet before coming off the ropes with an Armour Piercing Bullet attempt which Randy manages to avoid by rolling out of the ring.

As Randy Orton is regrouping on the outside of the ring, Troy Pierce climbs out to the ring apron and hits Randy with a Diving High Knee Strike off the apron, after dragging Orton back to his feet, Troy hits him with a Wrist-Clutch Exploder Suplex on the arena floor before rolling him back into the ring as Jon Davis slowly makes his way down to ringside.

With Troy Pierce distracted by Jon Davis, Randy Orton hits him with a Baseball Slide into the guardrail, Randy then rolls out of the ring and Irish Whips Troy into the side of the steel ring steps before rolling him back into the ring, following the kickout, Orton hits Pierce with the Garvin Stomps before stalking him for the RKO which Troy manages to counter by shoving Randy off into the corner before hitting him with a Release Tiger Suplex quickly followed up with a Running Single Leg High Knee Strike.

Before Troy Pierce can go for the pinfall, he is distracted by Jon Davis climbing up onto the ring apron, this distraction allows Randy Orton to get back to his feet and use a Rollup on Troy for a two count, when Pierce kicks out, he sends Randy into Jon, knocking him down to the floor, Troy then follows up with a Dropkick to the back of the knee and a Bridging Dragon Suplex on Orton for a two count.

Following the kickout, Troy Pierce comes off the ropes and hits Randy Orton with the Armour Piercing Bullet before setting him up for the Reverse Figure-Four Leglock which Randy manages to counter by Kicking Troy off into the corner, Orton then follows up with a Clothesline in the corner before setting Pierce up for a Superplex, Troy fits Randy off however and knocks him back into the ring with a European Uppercut.

Before he can capitalise on Randy Orton’s downed state, Troy Pierce is distracted by Jon Davis once again and the distraction allows Randy to get back to his feet and cut Troy off hit him with the IED, rather than going for the pinfall, Orton waits for Pierce to get back to his feet before attempting to hit him with the RKO which Troy manages to counter by holding onto the top rope, causing Randy to crash back down to the mat.

As Randy Orton groggily gets back to his feet, Troy Pierce takes him back down with a Chop Block before pointing right at Jon Davis and locking Randy in the Keep Calm and Tap Out – Kneebar which Orton quickly submits to.

Winner: Troy Pierce

After the match, Jon Davis enters the ring in an attempt to attack Troy Pierce but Troy is quickly on the defensive, which prompts Jon to roll back out of the ring and back up the ramp with a smirk on his face.

Mike Ashcroft

"That's ten points for Troy Pierce, Ed! If Troy can keep up this submission winning streak for his next to matches he will be in the Semifinals of the Future Shock tournament."

Ed Brookes

"Troy Pierce is more than capable of doing so, Mike but how will the recent arrival of Jon Davis impact Troy's performance in this tournament? He almost cost him this match against Randy Orton!"

--------------------------------------------------

Wade Barrett || Winds of Change

Sunday Night Showdown comes back from a commercial breaker with Wade Barrett making his way out to the ring with a microphone in hand.

"Well well…it looks like I have my first match of the night tonight against Christian Cage. Wow I think it's funny that a guy could call himself the "Instant Classic" when he needs another superstar to carry him to that classic. Don't worry though Christian, Wade Barrett is good enough to carry you to a good match. I know that you've got your other to buddies with you, Brock Lesnar let me tell you big fella I am a bare knuckle fighter and I will beat the hell out of you, Kurt Angle you might have won an Olympic Gold Medal but you won it for a country that the rest of the world looks down on and I know you can't beat me either Kurt, I proved that when I knocked you out cold with the Bull Hammer last week. Now...Christian Cage lets get one thing straight, I am better than you in this ring, why don't you just go home and realise that, realise that you have never faced anyone quite like Wade Barrett. After I beat you, I am going for the Heavyweight Title, doesn't matter if its Ted DiBiase, Undertaker or Prince Devitt, I will win the title and then the Barrett Barrage will be complete. Ladies and gentlemen get a look at your future."

As Wade Barrett leaves the ring and begins heading backstage, Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman makes his way down to the ring for his match against Colt Cabana. Brock and Wade make eye contact halfway up the ramp, staring each other down before continuing on their way.

Future Shock: Block-A Match

Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman vs. Colt Cabana

The match starts with Colt Cabana calling for the Lockup in the center of the ring, Brock Lesnar goes for it but quickly charges Colt into the corner and hits him with repeated Shoulder Thrusts to the midsection before attempting an Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex which Cabana manages to counter with a Double Bell Clap before coming off the second rope with a Diving Double Axe Handle which Brock manages to counter with an Atomic Drop before laying Colt out with a huge Clothesline, after dragging Cabana back to his feet, Lesnar hits him with several Knee Lifts to the midsection before setting him up for the F-5 which Colt manages to wriggle out of before rolling Brock up with a School Boy for a two count.

Following the kickout, a furious Brock Lesnar lays Colt Cabana out with another huge Clothesline before Kicking him in the face which sends Colt tumbling through the ring ropes and to the arena floor, as Paul Heyman verbally berates Cabana on the outside of the ring, Brock rolls out to the floor and lays into Colt with several Stomps before dragging Cabana back to his feet and hitting him with a huge Delayed Gutwrench Suplex, Lesnar then drags Colt back to his feet once again and attempts to Irish Whip him into the side of the steel ring steps, Cabana reverses the attempt however, sending Brock into the steps instead before rolling back into the ring in an attempt to gain a countout victory.

Just after referee Kevin Haskins gets to the count of “8”, Brock Lesnar manages to make it back into the ring, with Brock in the corner, Colt Cabana charges towards him with a Body Avalanche followed up with the Flying Asshole, rather than going for the pinfall, Colt heads up to the top rope for a Moonsault but is quickly cut off by Brock following a distraction by Paul Heyman at ringside, Lesnar sets Cabana up for a Powerbomb out of the corner which Colt manages to counter into a Rana Pin for a two count.

Following the kickout, Colt Cabana attempts to lock Brock Lesnar in the Billy Goat’s Curse which Brock manages to counter by Kicking Colt off into the corner, Cabana then explodes out of the corner at Lesnar but gets caught with an Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex, rather than going for the pinfall, Brock waits for Colt to groggily get to his feet before hitting him with the F-5, yet again, Lesnar doesn’t go for the pinfall and instead locks Cabana in the Brock Lock, Colt eventually manages to make it to the ropes but Brock refuses the release the hold which leads to Kevin Haskins disqualifying Lesnar.

Winner: Colt Cabana

After the match, Brock Lesnar keeps Colt Cabana in the Brock Lock until DUW security make their way out to the ring and force him to release the hold before escorting him backstage.

Mike Ashcroft

“We’ve heard Brock Lesnar say that he doesn’t care about the Future Shock tournament before, Ed and there’s the proof, he just threw away all the points that acquired in his match against CM Punk last week just so he could keep that vicious Brock Lock locked in.”

Ed Brookes

“Well those two points for Colt Cabana take him up to seven points in total, putting him in the number one spot in Block-A whilst that disqualification for Brock Lesnar means that he’s back to zero but I don’t think he even cares…he just wanted to inflict pain on Colt, lets just hope that Cabana hasn’t suffered the same fate as his former Second City Saints teammate CM Punk did and doesn’t have to be removed from the Future Shock tournament.”

--------------------------------------------------

Ed Brookes

“In just a few moments we will have our fourth Future Shock tournament match of the night featuring Daniel Bessell versus Jack Russell but before we go to the ring for that match, we have just received an update on the Dingo Kid situation. As it stands, we do not have any information regarding the whereabouts of Dingo Kid but he has officially been removed from Block-B and will not be replaced. Now…lets go to the ring for Daniel Bessell versus Jack Russell.”

Future Shock: Block-B Match

Daniel Bessell vs. Jack Russell

The match starts with Jack Russell offering Daniel Bessell a handshake which Daniel accepts before calling for the Lockup which Bessell gains the better of with a Headlock Takeover which Jack quickly escapes before taking Daniel down with his own Headlock Takeover, Bessell manages to battle back to his feet however before shoving Russell off into the ropes, Jack comes back with a Running Shoulder Block however before Irish Whipping Daniel across the ring and hitting him with a huge Back Body Drop.

As Daniel Bessell groggily gets back to his feet, Jack Russell backs him into the corner before Irish Whipping him into the opposite one, Jack follows up with a Clothesline into a Running Bulldog out of the corner before locking Daniel in a Chinlock which Bessell manages to escape with an Overhead Kick followed by a Snapmare before coming off the ropes with a Running Shoot Kick off the ropes, Daniel then attempts to come off the ropes again for a Running Senton which Russell narrowly avoids by rolling out of the way before hitting Bessell with a Back Suplex for a one count.

Following the kickout, Jack Russell brings Daniel Bessell back to his feet and sets him up for a German Suplex which Daniel manages to counter with a Victory Roll transitioned into a Spinning Toehold which Jack in turn manages to counter into a Small Package for a two count, following the kickout, Bessell attempts to hit Russell with a Clothesline which Jack narrowly avoids before hitting Daniel with a Hangman’s Neckbreaker transitioned into a DDT for a two count.

Following the kickout, Jack Russell attempts to lock Daniel Bessell in a Cross Armbreaker which Daniel quickly escapes by making it to the ropes before sliding out to the ring apron, when Jack attempts to Suplex Bessell back into the ring, Daniel hits him with a European Uppercut before slingshotting into a Russian Legsweep for a two count, following the kickout, Bessell quickly locks Russell in a Grounded Octopus Stretch which Russell easily escapes due to being so close to the ropes.

After releasing the Grounded Octopus Stretch, Daniel Bessell brings Jack Russell back to his feet and backs him into the corner with a series of Rapid Knife-Edge Chops before attempting to Irish Whip him into the opposite corner, Jack manages to counter the attempt into a Hammerlock Northern Lights Suplex transitioned into a Cross Armbreaker which Daniel manages to counter into a pinning predicament for a two count.

Following the kickout, Daniel Bessell and Jack Russell meet in the center of the ring and begin trading blows with Daniel gaining the upper hand before coming off the ropes, Jack catches Bessell with a Dropkick however before coming off the ropes with a Spinning Bulldog, rather than going for the pinfall, Russell waits for Daniel to get back to his feet before attempting to hit him with the Backstabber which Bessell manages to counter by holding onto the top rope, causing Jack to crash back to the mat.

After shaking off the effects of the Spinning Bulldog, Daniel Bessell waits for Jack Russell to groggily get back to his feet before hitting him with the Embezzlement for the three count.

Winner: Daniel Bessell

Ed Brookes

“That pinfall victory for Daniel Bessell has certainly made for an interesting situation in Block-B, Mike. Daniel is tied with both Davey Joe AND Jack Russell for first place. All three men have six points each and this is what the Future Shock tournament is all about, every match…every point matters.”

Mike Ashcroft

“You’re right, Ed. Every point is so important, we saw Brock Lesnar disqualified in his match earlier on tonight meaning he lost five points, that’s exactly the situation that Bessell, Joe and Russell want to avoid in the coming weeks.”

--------------------------------------------------

Dolph Ziggler || The Future Is Now

Sunday Night Showdown comes back from a commercial break with Dolph Ziggler walking out onto the stage with a microphone in hand.

"People calm down, you are looking at the man who is going to win the Future Shock tournament, get a look at greatness, People I’m sorry that you can't be as good as I am, I’m sorry you don't have the god given talent that I have, I’m sorry that you wish you was me. Everyone in this company is scared, they know that once I win the Future Shock tournament it’s only a matter of time until I become champion. I'm better than all the guys in the back I’m better than all you people in the crowd, I'm better than all you people sitting at home who are to afraid to go out and get a job so they sit down and watch matches of Dolph Ziggler wishing they could have my success. I am the perfect blend of talent and charisma, I have more charisma than any superstar in the back and that is a promise. You people know it everyone in the back knows it. I am the future of this company so learn to like it!"
SHOWOFF

Dolph then flips the microphone onto the stage and walks back to his locker room.

“Up next we have our main event of the evening featuring the in-ring debut of two DUW Superstars; Christian Cage and Wade Barrett. Christian represents Paul Heyman’s Dangerous Alliance who havn’t exactly had the best week after Kurt Angle’s time limit draw last Thursday Night on Thunder and Brock Lesnar’s disqualification loss to Colt Cabana earlier this evening. This is Christian’s chance to gain some momentum up for The Dangerous Alliance but that isn’t going to be an easy task against Wade Barrett. Wade is no stranger to those tight-nit factions. From The Foreign Legion in Irish Whip Wrestling to The Saxton Conglomerate in Florida Championship Wrestling and of course the Nexus and The Corre in the WWE. Barrett knows what those groups are all about, the gang mentality that they possess but now…he walks to the beat of his own drum and has gotten on the bad side of The DA, tonight…it’s his chance to back up his words from earlier and make a statement.”

Singles Match

Christian Cage w/ Paul Heyman vs. Wade Barrett

The match starts with Christian Cage and Wade Barrett Locking Up in the center of the ring, Wade quickly takes control with a Knee Lift to the midsection followed by several Forearm Clubs to the back before coming off the ropes, Christian catches Barrett with a Dropkick however before Irish Whipping him across the ring and hitting him with a Snap Scoop Powerslam, rather than going for the pinfall, Cage waits for Wade to stagger back to his feet before Clotheslining him over the top rope to the arena floor before attempting to hit him with a Baseball Slide which Barrett narrowly avoids before pulling Christian out of the ring and laying him out with a huge Big Boot.

After dragging Christian Cage back to his feet, Wade Barrett attempts to Irish Whip him into the side of the steel ring steps, Christian reverses the attempt however, Irish Whipping Wade into the guardrail before Clotheslining him over it into the crowd, when Cage attempts to Suplex Barrett over the guardrail, Wade slams his face into it before laying him out with a huge Clothesline, Barrett then climbs back over the guardrail and rolls a motionless Christian back into the ring for a two count, following the kickout, Wade locks Cage in a Reverse Chinlock whilst delivering repeated Knee Strikes to his spine, eventually Christian manages to battle back to his feet with a series of Back Elbow Strikes to Barrett’s midsection before hitting him with a Back Suplex for a one count.

Following the kickout, Christian Cage hits Wade Barrett with several Mounted Punches to the head until he is stopped by referee Robert Davids, after a brief verbal exchange with Robert, Christian turns his attention back to Wade who begins battling back to his feet, hitting Cage with a flurry of Punches to the midsection before coming off the ropes, Christian locks Barrett in a Sleeper Hold however but Wade quickly backs Cage into the corner whilst locked in the Sleeper Hold and hits him with repeated Back Elbow Strikes to the head to break out of it, Barrett then hits Christian with repeated Shoulder Thrusts to the midsection before Irish Whipping him into the opposite corner, when Wade charges into the corner, Cage catches him with a Pendulum Kick before coming off the top rope with the Flashpoint for a two count.

Following the kickout, Christian Cage stalks Wade Barrett back to his feet and hits him with a Kick to the midsection before setting him up for the Killswitch which Wade manages to counter by pushing Christian off into the corner, when Barrett charges into the corner, Cage catches him with a Savate Kick to the midsection followed up with a Springboard Sunset Flip off the second turnbuckle, Christian fails to take Wade down however and Barrett breaks Cage’s grip on his legs before hitting him with a Jumping Elbow Drop followed up with a Jumping Knee Drop and finally a Jumping Leg Drop for a two count.

Following the kickout, Wade Barrett attempts to lock Christian Cage in a Full Nelson but before Wade can lock it in properly, Christian escapes Barrett’s grip with an Overhead Kick before coming off the ropes with a Clothesline, after bringing Wade back to his feet, Cage backs him into the corner with several Forearm Strikes before attempting to Irish Whip him into the opposite corner, Barrett reverses the attempt however, sending Christian into the corner before charging in after him, Cage catches Wade with a Kick to the face however before coming off the top rope with a Diving Crossbody which Barrett manages to counter by catching Christian in midair before hitting him with the Wasteland.

Before Wade Barrett can go for the cover after the Wasteland, Paul Heyman climbs up onto the ring apron to distract him, after a brief verbal exchange with Paul, Wade attempts to hit him with the Bull Hammer but Heyman hops down off the apron before Barrett connects, following the distraction by Paul, Wade attempts to turn his attention back to Christian Cage but walks right into a Spear by him for the three count.

Winner: Christian Cage w/ Paul Heyman

After the match, Paul Heyman calls for the rest of The Dangerous Alliance to make their way down to the ring, they do so and Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle begin laying into Wade Barrett along with Christian Cage whilst April Divine and Paul Heyman verbally berate Wade until Davey Joe charges out to the ring, Davey manages to take down both Christian and Kurt with Clotheslines before being overwhelmed by Brock who lays Davey out with a huge Clothesline followed up with a Side Belly-to-Belly Suplex. The Dangerous Alliance continue to lay into Barrett and Joe until “Cult of Personality” hits the sound system, they expect CM Punk to come out to the ring but instead it’s a chair wielding Colt Cabana who runs out to the ring which leads to The Dangerous Alliance fleeing the ring and backing up the ramp as the show comes to a close.

NICHOLAS LANCER | THE WETTEST DREAM

What a win for Lancer, giving him nine points and putting him in the lead of Block C. It seems like the gimmick change is exactly what Nicholas needed, as since showing his true colors, he has a win streak of two. Sure, that isn't much of a "streak", but hey, when you're the sexiest guy walking around backstage? You can say what you want. For example: Nicholas Lancer is going to be in the semi finals. Example number two: Nicholas Lancer is going to be in the finals. Final example, example number three: Nicholas Lancer is going to WIN the Future Shock contract.

Troy Pierce defeated Randy Orton via submission, despite distractions from Jon Davis. Jon Davis tried and throw Troy Pierce off his game, but Troy Pierce was like "Bitch, you can't throw me off my game son" well, not really, but you get the idea right? So anyways, Troy should have 10 points for submission victories and his winning streak would be 11-0 now. Nice ain't it? Anyways, Troy Pierce doubts this will be the last time Davis tries to mess up Troy. Troy Pierce is a target as long as he has the title. Hopefully for Jon's sake that isn't the best he has got. So anyways, Troy Pierce will be savouring his victory, backstage.

Arika Suzuki, jealous? Jealousy was not the style of the Princess of Joshi. What was there for Arika to be jealous of? She was apart of a Japanese wrestling dynasty and would one day become the Women's Champion of Austrailia. Which would make her only the second champion in the brief history of DUW, but would be Arika's third overall Women's title. Not only that but it would also make Arika a Women's Champion in three countries which is imprecidented. With no match on tonight's card Arika could sit back and relax and study film on the newest acquisition of Paul Heyman, April Devine and prepare for a possible match for contention the Women's Championship.

NICHOLAS LANCER | THE WETTEST DREAM

Man, I think that's the second time rather recently that a 'to be continued' by me has been bottom paged. Come on guys, what's the beef? Anyways, Nicholas now is exiting the lounge area, his lunch finished. He had ordered out and eaten a pizza. He'd have to work that off at the gym later, make sure no fat would be gained onto his already beautiful being. Alright, enough filler, time to redo this tbc.

TroyPierce 11~0

So, who will answer Nicholas Lancer's TBC? Troy Pierce will be thy name. Troy Pierce is all dressed in his causal attire and he did shower to get that smelly sweat off. So now, Troy Pierce would be walking in places and then eventally he would cross paths with Nicholas Lancer nowadays. Troy Pierce didn't really know much about him, other then that he was a heel in the early goings of his stint here, but he is now a face so... yeah. Sure. Troy Pierce then greets Lancer ever so kindly. "Hia there Nick. Mind if I call you Nick? Good job on your win by the way!" Yep. Nice guy Troy.

"I PREFER Nicholas." Lancer would remove his shades and cling them to the front of his shirt. "But thanks for the congratulations. You know what's funny about this whole conversation right now? Since you have ten points and I have nine points, we're actually the top two not only in each other's block, but in the entire Future Shock tournament. Props to us being total BA's, right?" Lancer would raise his hand for a high five, a huge grin on his face. Nice guy Nicholas.

Troy Pierce then high-fives Lancer and then he grins himself too. Yep, Troy Pierce and Lancer are total bad asses "Oh yeah Nicholas, we are totally BA. You showed those jobber guys whats up, then beat Randy Orton via submission to get my 5 points a few ago, even with that Jon Davis guy trying to but him." Then Troy Pierce goes on about Jon. "That is so rude, why can't people ask nicely to watch at ringside and have the courtesy not to interfere. But, I won and avoided an attack right after, so I am glad. Going to be so fun continuing on with this tourney with Jon Davis having it out for me. I am sure he will try something else." Troy Pierce then shrugs. "Well on the bright-side, I am flattered that I have own stalker" Troy Pierce then chuckles. Poor joke, but he is a face so its excusable.
