By actually improving it, heh. Seriously though, create a story mode is an aspect of the series that has a lot of potential, but is ruined by an apparent lack of interest from the developers. There are sound glitches that have been around since svr 2010, there's game freezing glitches, and they still haven't figured out how to actually put mid-match cut-scenes in the middle of a match.

WWE '13 was the game where they really needed to get it right. There was not a story mode for the current superstars, so the only way you were going to get one was through storyline designer. The promises of having entrances as cut-scenes and having hundreds of options for scenes made it seem like they were going to take this mode seriously, but it was only smoke and mirrors. There were actually more glitches than in WWE '12, the match experience modifier was nowhere to be seen, and the only tow new match types for WWE '13 (special referee and "I Quit") were not available. It was almost like create a story was not tested at all.

If the developers could just spend more time testing it, and put a little more effort in making the mode more user friendly in it's design, I think create a story can be really awesome.

Being as everything outside the mode is effected inside the mode; I'll just leave my wishlist publishing.

You can go any character you want Superstar or Diva.

It'll be like a career mode were you try become the biggest name in WWE.

You don't need to win EVERY single match, if you lose say a #1 contender battle royale, you'll have to try again next time.

Communicate with other wrestlers and make alliances/enemies.

That is just one idea.

I was mainly happy with last years so I would go with that..........but as others have said fix the sound problems, make sure all matches are available (I Quit & Special ref matches excluded...............what an error) and we're ready to go.

I am desperate for 2K to keep this in, Universe mode doesn't appeal half as much because it is just not MY Universe, without backstage scenes, Promo's and scenes I want.........when I want them.

Edit: One thing I just remembered that I would like added, being able to include downloaded tracks in the scenes, for example during the Promo Confrontation, when my Created Superstar Sting comes out, I want to play his music.

I have ADHD & it is really hard for me to sit there & create storylines. I love universe a lot better as it is quick & too the point. I was also disappointed I could not upload my "The Life of Michael Cole" Story. which was pretty much all bad things happening to Cole. I mean I had the best storyline idea & I could not upload it.

I hate having scenes that have no logical next step or conclusion. For example, the contract signing or two people fighting at the top of the ramp while security tries to separate them. They just end and there's no way to progress the story without it looking stupid.

Or having scenes like throwing someone off the ramp/stage, yet only having one stretcher scene always starting from inside the ring.

THAT the reason I do the throw off the ramp at the end of the show and then add the end of show logo

This is what i would do! Have the Story Mode into Universe Mode with more Interaction with Free Roaming and starts fights in the Backstage area or make friends and also make promo's before a match to hype up that match type.

Season and General Manager Modes

Rather than the Season Modes presented in the previous SmackDown! games, Just Bring It has a Story Mode. The player is given more control over their wrestler's activities in Just Bring It's Story Mode, such as having the ability to choose which WWF title to go after. Throughout Story Mode, the player is able to attain unlockables, including additional superstars. And Season mode has been lengthened to two in-game years and features theBrand Extension

That would have nothing to do with the create-a-story mode.

I think I'd add a lot more scenes to use and probably make it quicker by using the move-set dummies as the parts so it doesn't have to load caws or superstars until you've finished or preview the whole story. Also as others mentioned conclusion scenes or just tidy up so they make sense. They are probably the only things I can think of right now.

That really depends on how well-structured your episodes are. You believe they just conclude abruptly because you aren't experimenting well enough with what scene would fit in well with the preceding scenario.

I dived deep into the infrastructure of Create-A-Story in both Smackdown vs Raw 2011 and WWE 13. A lot of the same bugs remained from 2011 to 13. One thing they need to fix are the transitions between scenes. Sounds issues need to be fixed and also once again allow us to use the screens above the ring. Another thing I'd like to see is a larger amount of use from created arenas. For instance I wanted to do 3 old school episodes of Raw for my series. However, due to only being able to use a created arena 15 times it was difficult to accomplish.

I'd also like to see more scenes this time around. They should make more superstar specific scenes. In 13 they had the RKO for Orton, Super/Pedigree for DX and the Chokeslam for Kane/Undertaker. When building a feud between two stars there should be more specific scenes. They could also add more conflict fighting scenes. The ones in 13 were all pretty much the same and generic. Being an avid story creator these are things I'd love to see in WWE 14.

Easiest way to solve this as I said would be able to have Brawls on the ramp; or have scenes such as the stretcher scenes have the ability to adjust where they are located such as Backstage or off the sides of the stage. Some of the cutscenes are wonky in their animations as well; as I've said in my wishlist publishing if we choose vacant we shouldn't see the ropes move automatically it defeats the purpose of choosing vacant. Mics shouldn't appear in the air, headsets shouldn't appear in the center of the ring if we choose vacant for the Commentary Guest attack scene. Ect; choosing vacant shouldn't punish the person who chose it which is what it appears to be doing at times.

Being as everything outside the mode is effected inside the mode; I'll just leave my wishlist publishing.

Have the win condition as say getting a body part to orange aand then do the scene. Then do a new match where the guy is on orange damage.
