The only thing terrible about that segment was it being buried by the commentary team.

This

couldn't even hear what Maddox was saying

The tone was set from the start forcing Jericho to hype up The Miz and his horrible looking action movie. It was pretty bad from a production standpoint as well with movie clips that didn't really make any sense. Cole was burying the segment even before Maddox entered.

I also don't know why they are trying to portray Wade Barrett as a joke character either, it goes against his gimmick and shows that he needs a lot more work before he can be WHC material. His Intercontinental run has been horrible so far, and I hope he loses it quickly.

For me it looks like they are building towards a Cody Rhodes face turn with a subsequent feud with Sandow. I hope this is for the IC title as it desperately needs a good feud to make it relevant again.

Where did the Jeri-Tron disappear too? And why?

The whole point of the JeriTron was for the Shawn Michaels eye injury angle

Can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure it was present way before that.
it was.

I'm pretty sure awkwardness is just apart of Brad Maddox's character...? He's shown it several times before in past promos and on commentary.

I'd laugh is they brought back the busted JeriTron 5000(or is it 6000) just so that they can have a JeriTron for the Highlight Reel lol

I'm still laughing at his pseudo-Bane impression from a few weeks ago.

He was obviously being sarcastic, wasn't that hard to realize that...

And I thought the segment was funny and enjoyed it.

But he had the JeriTron during the segment, then it just vanished, they even acknowledged it went. What was the purpose for that?

Jericho has used the JeriTron far before the angle even took place.

The segment only became painful and embarrassing when King and Cole started shitting all over it. I mean, Christ...I couldn't even hear that Maddox had booked an IC title match for the following week. I know others had trouble hearing this as well. You can't just talk over segments that announce title matches. If Vince is the reason for this, then we could really do without him. I assumed it was just Lawler and Cole sucking at their job.

Maddox ruined the entire segment IMO. Otherwise, I thought it wasn't too bad.

Why do they insist on putting wussies in the GM role? How about a real authority figure.

The commentary was harsh, but the segment was damn terrible. Shocked Maddox is getting apparent trash for his role, he was the only thing noteworthy about the segment. WWE needs to stop these talk show things, they're terrible.

Commentary nearly ruined my entire night because it pissed me off so much. Lawler and Cole shouldn't speak. All they do is gang up against heels and kiss the asses of the faces and crack dumb jokes and yet they go on to bury an entire segment just because the crowd just wasn't into it? The crowd was shit all night. Whether or not Vince was spitting commands into commentary's ears is irrelevant. It only worsened the segment and it was a blatant act of disrespect.
