Beyond shocked. He was one of my all-time favorite managers and I hoped he'd be with The Undertaker at his final match. :( He should be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. Condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P. Paul Bearer. You'll be missed.

I'm completely shocked, and saddened.

It's so hard to put this into words cause I've only just heard the news. Definitely one of the best managers the wrestling business ever had, and a big figure for the 90's. One of the reasons why you would tune in every week, to see his involvement with Undertaker and Kane.

I mean I grew up watching this guy, and I'll be honest, this is like losing a family member.

Rest in Peace Paul Bearer, and thank you for everything.

but seriously. I am really saddened by this. Man was really entertaining and was one of the best managers of all time. I'm gonna miss him.

R.I.P Paul Bearer

Sad news to wake up to. :/ RIP Father of Destruction.

That's so sad! He was just in WWE, what, 3 years ago for that run with Kane? He didn't look too ill.

RIP Paul Bearer :(

He appeared last year during the Kane-Orton feud.

I'm against inducting him this year or next. Maybe 2-3 years from now would be fitting. I hate that it takes death for people to realize an individuals contribution to wrestling. All you see on here(and various other sites) is "induct him to the HOF". Why? Just because he passed? Why don't we give these people proper recognition when they're alive? If he gets inducted its just gonna come off as a shitty gesture of putting him in just cause he passed away.

It's lame; just like when Rey got his over due push just because Eddy died.

This is one thing I hate about society and death. We need to learn to appreciate these individuals while they are here and not only through death.

Wow this is crazy, what a horrible report to wake up and read. Another great legend gone from existence.

I really hope they do it proper and give him a nice tribute video on Raw. It sucks I wanted to see him and Taker one last time before he retires.

I remember playing as him in the first WWF Smackdown game. Although wrestling usually has terrible acting, William Moody has always put his soul in portraying his character with his eyes and his high pitched voice. He even had me with cement trick back in 04. He wasn't the best manager but he had his heart in the business.

Wow, this is a very sad news to me, I used to love seeing Paul Bearer and The Undertaker together. I'm actually on the verge of crying at the moment I'm writing this. May he Rest In Peace, and he will forever be the father of darkness to me. I hope The Undertaker makes him a custom casket for his funeral, that would be the ultimate sign of respect and honor in my eyes.
