I tried to bump the old topic I had for this, with the updated info through the 2012 Rumble, but unfortunately it had been archived. Anyways, just something interesting I thought I'd share.

I hope Kane gets the overall elimination record one day.

I think he'll reach it this year. Between Rhodes Scholars, maybe a comedy elimination for Bryan, and with the fact that he's Kane that he'll definitely eliminate two other people, it could happen.

Anyone else notice how the Divas' stat got nixed this year in the promo? I understand because neither Beth nor Kharma are with WWE any longer, but I always thought it was a cool part of the promo; the only Diva that would probably enter the Rumble these days would be AJ... not because she's as strong as Chyna, Beth, or Kharma, but because she's the "c word." :hqhq:

It's a long shot but I wouldn't be surprised, lol.

Some big name superstars who never participated in a Royal Rumble Match since the Royal Rumble's existence.

  • Razor Ramon (Scott Hall)
  • The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von)

And all 3 had quite a few years in WWE with big runs as Tag Team Champs and/or IC Champ but never actually participated in the match. I was always mad finding out by entry number 30 Ramon wasn't in that 94, 95 or 96 rumble match. Same with Dudleyz in 2000 - 2004.

  • 11 months later...

Fun Fact:

Only 4 guys in the 2007 Royal Rumble match are still active on the roster seven years later:

Miz, Khali, CM Punk and Randy Orton.

Everyone else are either released, retired, semi-retired or dead.

Well shit
