Anybody else really miss Christian?

Christian has been out of action since early Aug. 2012. In the past year and a half he's only been around a combined 5 months. granted he had an IC title run in that time. But it was short lived as they seemingly had him drop it to Miz a RAW 1000, because they didn't know what else to do. I just been a huge Christian mark his whole career, especially when he became Captain Charisma in 2005 w/ Tomko. But I feel like good years of his career are just wasting away.

I'm hoping he recovers quick , I read not too long ago on Wrestlezone I think (I know) that he was close to returning. Cause I was kinda getting the feeling that he'd just quit or something until I saw him on that Via sattelite interview on SD! a few months back asking for the brouge to be banned. Anyone else really miss Christian? I know some ppl think he's meh, but I think he's a future hall of famer.

I really miss him. I enjoyed him in the main event scene. It felt really good seeing him get that title. It was far overdue. I also really enjoyed his feud with Cody Rhodes. I hope he comes back soon. As one of he top faces or top heels on smackdown. I just think that at this point of his career he's better face.

Yeah he needs to come back as a top face. At this point in his career, no one wants to boo him. Although I wiill say he has ALWAYS had more attention and success as a heel, so.. not sure how I feel about that one.

I remember that tues. reading the SD spoilers right after he won it. All I saw was Orton def. Christian for World Championship and all I saw was red I was so angry. He should definetely be either WWE or World Champ again before he calls it quits, which hopefully is never, LOL.

Hoping for a Royal Rumble return, which at this point seems likely.

Of course. But it's a shame that he hasn't recovered from his heel turn last year, and that he might not recover from it at all. I enjoyed the Christian vs Orton matches a lot, but his heel turn wasn't necessary. Being Orton's bitch for months then Sheamus' bitch for a few months after really hurt him. He has really popular when he returned and helped out Edge. Around that whole time leading up to Edge's retirement, he was great as face and should have stayed that way. He should have been given a babyface run with the world title. He's the perfect underdog world champion, just look at all the outrage that occurred when he lost the title to Orton, it was crazy.

I feel that turning Christian messed up his fanbase a bit. Even though he was cheered throughout his heel run, it hasn't done him any good. A lot of people think that Christian isn't a good babyface, which is wrong. Look at his ECW reign and more importantly, his first world title run in TNA, arguably the best part of his career . The whole Christian being bland as a babyface is stupid, he just isn't utilized right and is booked like crap.

But anyways, there is no way Christian's going to be in the main event ever again, if WWE wanted him to be a main eventer, he would have been when he was most over in 2004/2005 or when he returned to the WWE, or at Wrestlemania 26 where he should have won the MITB, he had the most momentum and would have put him in a feud with Edge and Jericho, which would write itself. So basically, I hope he feuds with Antonio Cesaro when he returns. They had a short match on smackdown, but it was good. I think they could pull off a lengthy feud for the Us title, which is what Cesaro needs right now, Christian's the perfect opponent for him to feud with at the moment.

I really want him to return... But as a heel.

What's with everyone wanting him back as a babyface? As a face Christian is just a generic guy with no character or direction. As a heel he has a great character and cuts much better promos and is much more interesting in the ring.

And also... His short World title reign and Summer feud with Orton was perfect. People really need to stop bitching about it. It was a great story that Christian has worked his entire career to win a World title and be recognised over the "poster boys" of WWE. And when he finally does win it he loses it to Randy Orton just a few days later. Which triggers his old "Whiney heel" character to come back as he desperately tries to get back the title while always begging for "One more match".

It was great. Perfect for Christians character. And a great, unique story. But, of course, the ass hats on the internet don't think about good stories or logic. All they care about is "Dis d00de iz a gud wressler! He shud b world champ!!!!".

I miss him. He has been one of my favourites since Edge's retirement, and has really grown on me since the Orton feud. If you ask me, they could have really given him a chance to show what he was truly capable of as World Champ, instead of making him job to Orton on a regular basis. He was high on momentum with his backstory, and they could have taken off from there, instead of triggering a rushed heel turn which destroyed every bit of credibility and momentum he had. I'll still gladly accept him as the World Champion (when he returns), but as is obvious, the chances of that happening ever again are slim to none.

I like Christian as a heel or a face. I just feel at this point he needs to be face, continuing from his IC run and Cesaro beatdown before he took time off. He needs to just interrupt Cesaro mid promo or something and just come out and challnege for the US title. They could even hype it that Cesaro is the one who injured Christian. I would mark hard for a TLC return, who knows it could happen. I've been reading reports that he's been close to returnig for weeks.

I do miss him. Ive used him as wwe 13 as a main event player. Had some great matches with Orton.

I really do feel he should come back in the main event. I mean he would be a fresh face for the main event but also someone who has experience. I agree with a post a few posts up about TNA using him great. Heel or face,in TNA he was a real believable main event player. Hopefully he gets some sort of breakthrough in character in the wwe

^ I somewhat agree that the WWE's done a good job in killing my buzz over Cap'n Charisma as well, but I still have a decent of desire to see him return and actually get a bonafide main event push. We can only hope for something better than 2 world title reigns that lasted for a combined total of just 30 days (aka WCW-level bullshit booking).
