Will the rumored Custom Champion Creation Mode allow for Custom Announced Call Names?

I know it was new for WWE '12 and as such not perfect, but I would definitely love to see the customized Announced name feature being implemented. Outside of the words 'The' and 'Championship' (Sometimes 'Tag Team') being automatically added,, I think it would really open things up for people with their own brands and E-Feds.

And once they overhaul the entrance mechanics to allow for customized championship entrances, then it'll get even better.

it would be a nice idea, the problem would be THQ would give us some STUPID names or words(should they impliment stitching). so, i think the wisest idea for them would just to put in names of citys,states/provineces,countrys. put in random words THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE for a championship name for example: county, western, the, orange, state= The Orange County Championship and The Western State Championship. maybe even add names of stadiums/arenas(if they were allowed to) The Madison Square Garden Championship!

It could be cool, but it could also sound very buggy. I'd be happy with the ring announcer announcing custom belts as "The Championship", as in "The following contest is for the championship" or "Your winner and the new champion". It sounded silly in SvR 2007 when the announcer would say "custom belt championship" whenever the title was on the line.

If they have the full Alphabet in, that will appease a good chunk of players as they could use the initials of their Customized Brand.

The way I see it would be like this.

You pick from a selection of words/letters/numbers to correspond to the brand/company, then pick type such as World, United States, Finland, Hardcore, Extreme, etc But the catch is you are not limited to just what people 'typically' use for a Title names. If I want to make the ZXO Pancake Championship, I would want to see the word Pancake in there. Then a modifier for whether it's a single or tag team (maybe even 6-man Tag Team for some retro flavor), and possibly weight class (Heavyweight, and maybe have Cruiserweight, Light-Heavyweight, and Jr. Heavyweight as options) and whatnot.

It is pretty ambitious, but at the same time it almost should be mandatory for Custom Championships.

5 slots, alphabet, regions (world/US etc.), weights (heavy/cruiser), match types, simple stuff (TV, internet) and some random words. Obviously diva, woman, tag, trio, numbers too. The and Championship would be added by default.

Thats how I would want it.

That would make it easy to do:

E.C.W. TV Championship

Canada Heavyweight Championship

Steel Cage Championship

And of course, The Internet Championship

All youd need is the alphabet and world, us, tag, etc. as call names really

If you read my other posts, you'd see that I did mention this, but at the same time, they should take it further. Use other countries, or match names or even random stuff like Waffles.

"All you'd need is this" is very limiting.

not really i be happy with just basic name like hardcore tag world

This is limiting in the same sense as people holding custom E-Feds in Arenas with WWE Logos plastered everywhere. Sure it'd be barely enough, but there's clearly an opportunity to go beyond the bare minimum.

I said alphabet for things like ecw, tna, wcw, awa, etc....so long as they have that and world, u.s., hardcore and the like and follow it up with the word championship, id be cool with it this year. I agree nationalities would be a welcomed addition, but will we have enough available lines? Caw call names allowed 4 slots to make the name, thats the limit ive put on this idea due to what weve been shown with call names.

yeah so im not like the others i dont need 40 billion names to be able to use it and enjoy it

having a wide variety of names/words to stitch together can help people be creative when creating/customizing a championship belt. so i welcome the idea of having say....200-500 words to choose from. ..........as long as they add a large variety of design parts to choose from aswell.

you don't need a spot for the word 'championship'. that could be an automatic thing. and 'world'? they could set it up so there are different weight classes. or 'major' and 'minor' divisions.

I like the major/minor idea mainly due to us having bingo hall styled arenas.

The "ABC american light-heavy weight" championship.

One slot for the alphabet brand name, one slot for "light/lightheavy(cruiser" another slot for "weight" (unless slot 2 is specified to womens, diva) (weight can be excluded in place of just "hardcore)......

Sounds promising.

I feel like they'll half ass it and just call all created titles "Created Championship" First off I still dont believe the mode is in and if it is why no info at all on it? Are they planning to do a 3 minute video explaining how this and I quit are supposed to work?

It is how the marketing works in the video game industry.

They want to slowly trickle out information in an attempt to build hype at their desired pace. Then have the occasional 'Big Update/Reveal' along the way.

Not sure if it is good or bad that things go this way.
