Why DC let NetherRealm have this license is beyond me. Potential to be a disaster is very high here. The character design looks very odd. The environment gameplay that Ed Boon keeps building up makes me laugh. We saw the exact same shit in Dead or Alive 3 over ten years ago. It's not groundbreaking.

^ Only part I agree with.

NetherRealm probably still have the license from MK vs DC maybe?

I'm buying this on Day One. Comic Fan must-buy.

It seems like the character designs are mixtures of The New 52 and DC Universe Online. DC Universe Online being the main influence and the New 52 for the armored suits. Almost everyone has armored suits now.

I think Black Canary, Green Arrow, Sinestro, Hal Jordon, Joker, Clayface, Bizarro, Superboy, Nightwing and Lex Luthor should all be in.

A game about comics simply existing doesn't make it a must buy for comic fans. It looks like a generic fighting game right now. I love comics too and this doesn't even have me mildly interested in it. There isn't anything must buy about seeing NetherRealm go for round two with DC characters in a fighting game when they already failed miserably on it before.

I'd hope not. I was thinking something more along the lines of this.

This!

I really like how Harleyquin looks. I'd love to see a few Vertigo guys make the game like Rosarch, Dream, V, Swamp Thing, etc.

I'd doubt any Vertigo guys make it, however it is possible since I think the Vertigo and DC Universe are actually one right now. Swamp Thing is probably the only probable person. This game is expected to have 28 Characters, so don't rule out Red Hood, Deadshot, etc or anyone that uses guns/archery.

Gameplay doesn't seem that different from MK2011 with the added car throwing/smashing through buildings...and I assume the X-ray counterpart involves big ass moves such as when Superman uppercutted Flash into space lol.

Gameplay doesn't seem something new but it doesn't always have to be "ground-breaking" Netherealm should stick to their guns, the MK2011 gameplay was great. It will be better then making another MK vs DC game anyways.

I just noticed that Wonder Woman is wearing pants...

Which is surprising since this is a NetherRealm game. One would expect her to be dressed like Mileena.

Still looks better than Flash, Batman, and Superman though.

After seeing the gameplay during E3, it's almost carbon copy of MK9. No reason for people who enjoyed that not to buy this. The dashing, animations, lots of the stuff is ripped straight from it just like how MK vs DC had DC characters using throwaway movesets from MK Armageddon. Not happy about it, but the gameplay still looks solid.
