Please, stop complaining about the Attitude Era being the focus.

Yo seriously, let's be honest here. And I want everyone to take the time to read this. There's a lot of bickering about THQ finally taking the SMART, and much DEMANDED, approach to include the Attitude Era in their game. The thing about you young people complaining is the fact that you were not blessed and fortunate enough to witness the greatest and most fun era in wrestling history. This is an era where EVERYONE, and I mean, EVERYONE used to watch wrestling. Wrestling is something that is laughed at by the majority of people here in this world. It is a joke, a circus per say. You tell people you watch wrestling and you become an instant joke to them. But the Attitude Era was the only time where EVERYONE watched wrestling. Wrestling was as popular as football. This is a time where grown men would get together on a Monday night, order Pizza and chicken wings and a case of beer get drunk and have fun watching Monday Night Raw. This is a time where the more mature audience had something to enjoy every Monday night.

Fortunately, us young kids at the time were able to experience this amazing boom period in wrestling when we were young. Our young minds packed with a hell lot of imagination was able to become a part of the legendary Attitude Era. A time where wrestling was action packed, had no limits, and had a bunch of cool storylines that would porobably get WWE banned from TV these days. A time where you could desecrate a flag and no one was being a pussy and suspending people about it. This is a time where we had BALLS to do the unthinkable. A time where we had our home grown stars who shot to over night stardom(Something it took your beloved John Cena and Randy Orton eight years to do).

The Attitude era ended a long time ago, and till this day it is still considered the greatest time in wrestling history. I'm not saying that recent years have been THAT bad(well actually, up until last summer wrestling was pure garbage) but we've yet to come across a time now where we could consider wrestling at it's best. I don't think anything will ever top what we experienced in our Attitude years. The years before the Attitude Era were amazing also. I'm talking the golden years where we had guys like The Ultimate Warrior and the Shawn Michaels that was shooting to stardom. Guys like Razor Ramon, Diesel, Yokozuna, and classic Undertaker. Even those years were A LOT better than what we are watching today and fortunately we had a game that focused on that Era with Legends Of Wrestlemania(which I liked a lot). You young fans have no idea what you're up against when you try to debate on whether or not The Attitude Era was better than the crap we watch today. Wrestling honestly jumped the shark in 2006, and that was honestly the last good years for the WWE up until last summer. But we all know it's a matter of time before they go back to being garbage.

So for us to actually have a game focusing on the best time of wrestling is a blessing and THQ deserves a big thank you for listening to us veteran fans. And it's funny because I don't remember us Attitude Era fans being as selfish as you fans are today. Whenever a legend from the 80's or the Golden Era would come on Monday Night Raw we were always ecstatic and appreciated the fact that they were on TV. Hell, I'm sure if at the time a game out focusing on the Golden Era back in those days, we would appreciate the crap out of that came because us Attitude Era fans understood that those guys paved the way for guys like Austin, Rock, HHH, HBK, Taker, ETC... So of course we would understand that those guys still had veteran fans that stuck around who more than deserved to have a game focusing on the guys they grew up on. So stop being selfish, and let us veteran fans enjoy the fact that we have a game focusing on our childhood.

In closing, you want to sit here on your high horse and talk about NXT, a D show at it's best, a show that no one follows or even cares about. A show that maybe .1 percent of today's WWE fans follow. Get your head out of your ass and be logical here, but no one gives a shit about NXT and the only reason it exists is because WWE don't want their lower tier superstars sitting on their ass at home and getting paid to do it. It's only there to give them something to do. It's not even broadcasted here in Canada or even the States anymore. Quite simply put, your flawed logic of any game focusing and including NXT stars is stupid and dumb and would make THQ lose a ton of money in revenue. Attitude Era for life.

In short, complains about people complaining about the attitude era while talking down the current NXT roster.

Not worth taking seriously.

My opinion:

Both sides have merit, and both are deserving. I love both rosters, but some of the arguments both sides have been coming up with against eachother are incredibly stupid.

People calling the attitude stars overrated= stupid

People calling the new guys nobodies= stupid

I'm fine with the attitude era inclusion, and I'm not a big fan of it personally, but I don't really care that much.

The wrestlers from that era are more interesting to me than the majority of today's, and a large majority of today's roster is going to be featured anyways.

Damien Sandow is more impressive in a month than Hawkins or Reks been in how much?

Oh lord...

Reks came in destructive as well, Hawkins did not because he came in as a tag-team specialist.

stop trying to piss people off.

Really? Cause I remember A LOT of Attitude era fans being selfish by calling nowadays stars things like: Losers, useless jobers, they don't deserve to be in the game, etc.

Yes, I watch every WWE show. So don't talk bullshit here. They get no reaction.

Oh Wow, you are able to put two braincells together and look at a screen, that obviously means you're an expert right?

Like I said in another topic, about a similar debate.

I love this idea of a current and attitude era roster. Do I want NXT guys in the game? Of course. But looking at who is more than likely to make the game when you first start playing (pre-DLC), NXT guys are more likely to be a downloadable pack if anything.

Crowd reactions are fake on NXT and SmackDown, genius.

Not to mention they're heels, they aren't supposed to get loud cheers and swoons.

dunno about him but I've heard them get the boos they need quite often.

Well, No-Duh because there are rarely reactions on both shows, I'm not trying to insult talent btw....
