Splasher
Talk about punk music here. Since I don't think Caws.ws has a lot of members who like old school punk, all types punk discussion is welcome, whether it be old school punk (Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop), hardcore-punk (Black Flag, The Dead Kennedys), new punk (Anti-Flag, Rise Against), pop-punk (Green Day, Blink-182) or any other type of punk music. !I!I!I
sup bros i like fggty tr00 pop punk and dumb chilled easycore. srsly I will throw a rec towards the recent glamour kills tour cover split (TWY/Transit/AL4W/TSSF/PBC/IIOI) which I enjoyed way more than I thought I would. also surprised haven't gotten bigger yet, considering their last ep sounds like every other popular band in a good way. I linked to a track off that, but I especially love their debut album which is more of the same except with increased core breakdown ratio and star fox lyrics. They're pretty good *searches other stuff by them* Is ska punx? Most ska isn't punk, but there is ska-punk (Bands like Operation Ivy). Talking about ska-punk, I've been getting into this song lately... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhalnCwP82s

Really the only couple I have seen live were at Bamboozle last year, Gaslight Anthem, Alkaline Trio, and a few others. If Streetlight Manifesto counts i have seen them like 12 times. Anno Domini.
Hey guys, sorry for the shameless plug here, but I'm currently in a punk band. Here's our YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/startingoverworks There's only one song on there at the moment and it's not exactly punk, but we've got some of our own work on the way so feel free to subscribe. Have you guys seen any punk bands live, and if you haven't which bands would you like to see live? I'd like to see Offspring, Blink 182, Sum 41 and Green Day live. There's some others that I'd like to see, but can't think of them off the top of my head.

Slevin.
Is ska punx? Indeed, that's third wave of Ska. You get bands like Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Catch 22 etc. Speaking of Catch 22, I just randomly got this song in my head after replying to your post. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg8e1FiskCI

.Sy™
I'm getting more and more into punk. I recently got The Clash's "London Calling", as well as some Ramones and Sex Pistols stuff and I always listened to newer punk, such as Green Day, Billy Talent or Rise Against. This topic has my attention.

Fried
The Slits A bit of a curio, I had read about the first Siouxsie & The Banshees concert in Jon Savage's excellent book on punk "Englands Dreaming" (well worth reading for anyone interested in the Punk Movement - more here: http://www.jonsavage.com/punk/) This is apparently the audio from said concert. Featuring: Siouxsie Sioux - vocals, Steve Severin - bass, Marco Pirroni - guitar, and Sid Vicious - drums http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URzSQMVLxxQ
