Raw Season 2

The follow up to my successful Raw Season 1 now has it's Pre Show Episode now uploaded!

For those who don't know, last year I did a full season of Raw. Starting from the night after Wrestlemania, through to the following Wrestlemania. The format was three Raws, and one PPV per month, which I then uploaded. In these months, I had 3 or 4 fueds going on. From the main event to the midcard. There was something for everyone.

This will be a direct follow up from that, plus the inclusion of new superstars such as Alberto Del Rio, Daniel Bryan, Sin Cara and Wade Barrett.

For those who didn't follow the series, soon I will be posting in this thread a quick recap of the year. If you want to play through it, however, you can by downloading from Smackdown vs Raw 2011. Search my username to find it, linkinbrad36. I suggest you download Part 1, then Part 2, then download months 7 to 12 individually.

The Pre Show is now up for a recap of Wrestlemania, and a taster as to what you can expect from Season 2.

Gamertags - Raw, Season 2 and linkinbrad.

Enjoy!

A quick recap of the main events from Raw Season 1

April

This starts after Wrestlemania, where John Cena defeated Sheamus for the WWE Title. We also find out the The Miz has won the MITB for Raw. We have a rematch for the WWE Title, which Cena wins. The Miz cashes in his MITB on John Cena to become the new WWE Champion. The next two weeks, Miz and Cena feud. Sheamus and Orton also feud. At Backlash, Sheamus defeats an injured Orton, and The Miz defeats Cena to retain the WWE Championship thanks to the help of a masked man. There is also a US Title feud going on, the details escape me.

May

Sheamus and Orton continue to feud, and this leads to Orton getting run over by an unknown attacker. Orton is ruled out of action for a long time. Cena refuses to back down from The Miz, and demands a rematch at Extreme Rules, which he gets after beating Sheamus in a steel cage match. The following week Sheamus demands a rematch, this time not in a steel cage, which he gets. In this match, The Miz helps Sheamus win, therefore, Sheamus is entered into the WWE Title match at Extreme Rules. The following week, the masked man from Backlash opens the show, and it's revealed to be Sheamus. Sheamus explans that he made a plan with The Miz which involved him helping The Miz defeat John Cena at in exchange for The Miz helping Sheamus become number 1 contender. But of course, The Miz couldn't help Sheamus in the steel cage, but helped him the week after. The show ends with Sheamus and The Miz brawling and showing they can't get on. At Extreme Rules, The Miz defeats Cena and Sheamus to retain the WWE Title. Evan Bourne beats Ted Dibiase and John Morrison to become the new US Champion

June

Next up, we have a branching storyline for a month. In one branch, we have The Miz vs Cena in a ladder match for the WWE Title, and in the other branch, we have John Cena vs The Miz vs Sheamus vs John Morrison for the WWE Title in a steel cage match.

In the first branch, Sheamus is pre occupied doing something to which I've forgotten. We also see a promo from Ted Dibiase in which he claims that he needs to change due to the fact he lost the US Title at Extreme Rules, and he needs to make an impact. Fast forward to The Bash, and the outcome in both the branched title matches is that Ted Dibiase cost John Cena the WWE Title, and The Miz retained the title once again. There is also a couple of small feuds going on that I've forgotten, mostly involving Dolph Ziggler, Evan Bourne, John Morrison and others.

July

So after The Bash, Ted Dibiase explains that he needed to make an impact, so he chose the WWE's biggest star to make an impact on, and that he compared his role in The Marine 2 to Cena's in The Marine, and that no one cared about his role. So this sets up a Dibiase vs Cena feud which has a match at the next PPV, Night of Champions.

Sheamus and John Morrison have a number 1 contenders match to decide who will face The Miz at Night of Champions. John Morrison wins thanks to help from the returning Randy Orton, who takes out Sheamus. So The Miz and John Morrison feud for the title, and Sheamus and Orton feud. During the 3 weeks leading up to the Night of Champions, we have blackouts in the arena, and a voice claims that a 'disaster' is coming to the WWE. At Night of Champions, Dolph Ziggler retains the US Title, Orton beats Sheamus, The Miz beats John Morrison for the WWE Title, and John Cena defeats Ted Dibiase. During the PPV, we finally see who was behind the 'disaster; promos. A hooded, tall, susperstar, who attacks two WWE employees backstage. No one knows who he is.

August

Ted Dibiase claims he is nowhere near finished with John Cena, and attacks Cena on the first Raw after Night of Champions. Randy Orton wins a number 1 contender match for a WWE Championship match at Summerslam and feuds with The Miz. At the end of the night, the hooded monster known as the 'disaster' attacks Jerry Lawler. The week after, Dibiase continues his attack on Cena, and Miz and Orton continue to feud. At the end of the night, the 'disaster' attacks both John Cena and John Morrison. Standing tall in the ring, the 'disaster' looks to the top of the ramp, where we see Ted Dibiase looking down to the ring with a smile on his face. The following week, we find out that the name of the 'disaster' is Zachariah, and he is the product of Ted Dibiase's millions, and he's in the WWE to help Dibiase take over. We also find out that Sheamus is involved with Dibiase, and it was Dibiase who ran over Randy Orton before Extreme Rules. Dibiase did this as a favour to Sheamus, in exchange for Sheamus helping him attack Cena. Sheamus and Zachariah are known as Dibiase's investments. Cena responds to this by asking Vince McMahon if he can face Dibiase, Sheamus and Zachariah at Summerslam. Vince rejects this, but says if he can find two other superstars then he can have a 3 vs 3 match at Summerslam. John Morrison is the first to join Team Cena, but no one else is willing to help. At the end of the night, we finally find out who is the third member of Team Cena, a returning Chris Jericho. The following week Jericho explains how he hated his 'Serious' Jericho time in the WWE, and also that he hated how Dibiase and his investments were treating people in the WWE. At Summerslam, Dolph Ziggler beats Santino, Evan Bourne and Tyson Kidd to retain the US Title, Randy Orton beats The Miz to become the WWE Champion and Team Dibiase beats Team Cena after Jericho turned on Cena and helped Dibiase win.

September

Jericho is revealed as one of Dibiase's investments the night after Summerslam, and gives his reasons. He also reveals that he was the one who trained Zachariah to be the great wrestler that he is. Sheamus is told he is no longer needed by Dibiase and is beaten down by Dibiase, Zachariah and Jericho. Throughout the night, we have lots of brawls between Dibiase and his investments, Cena, Morrison, Orton and The Miz. At the end of the night, Vince McMahon announces that at the Hell in a Cell PPV, the Armageddon HIAC will return, and it will be for the WWE Championship. The 6 superstars are WWE Champion Randy Oron, The Miz, John Cena, Ted Dibiase, Chris Jericho and Sheamus. They all feud througout the month. Zachariah feuds with John Morrison and Ziggler has a feud with Mark Henry to build him up. At HIAC, Orton wins the Armaggedon HIAC, Zachariah beats Morrison and Ziggler beats Henry.

October

The night after HIAC, Dibiase is announced as the number 1 contender for the WWE Title and will face Randy Orton at Bragging Rights due to the fact that he bribed Vince McMahon. John Cena requests a match with Chris Jericho, and there is a Money In The Bank match for Bragging Rights announced, 3 superstars from Raw (Ziggler, The Miz and John Morrison) and 3 from Smackdown (Mysterio, Kingston and McIntyre). All these feud throughout the month. On the last Raw before Bragging Rights, there is a 3 vs 3 match, Raw vs Smackdown between the MITB participants. Raw wins. Right after the match, Dibiase says he wants to collect on the second part of the deal he cut with Vince when he bribed him, this turns out to be Zachariah vs Ziggler for the US Title despite the fact that Ziggler had just competed. Zachariah wins and becomes the new US Champion.

At Bragging Rights, Dolph Ziggler becomes the Money in the Bank winner and can cash in on any show. Chris Jericho beats John Cena thanks to a screw job, the referee screwing Cena, and Randy Orton beat Dibiase for the WWE Title.

November

The next night, Dibiase says that he bribed the referee in the Jericho Cena match, however he attempted to bribe the referee in his match, but the referee didn't accept. Said referee gets beaten down by Dibiase and his investments. Cena claims he's had enough and asked Orton if he would join him in taking on Dibiase and his investments at Survivor Series. Cena suggests the terms that if him and Orton win, Dibiase and his investments must leave the WWE. If Dibiase or his investments win, then Dibiase becomes WWE Champion and Cena quits the WWE. All parties accept and the match is set for Survivor Series. Sheamus, The Miz and John Morrion all feud and a match a Survivor Series gets announced - Sheamus vs The Miz vs John Morrison in a number 1 contender match for the WWE Championship. Teddy Long is GM on Raw for the night because Vince is on holiday due to him getting a bit of extra cash (the Dibiase bribe) and he announces that Dolph Ziggler will defend his MITB briefcase at Survivor Series against Mysterio because Dolph didn't get involved properly in the MITB match and took his chance to win.

At Survivor Series, Ziggler beats Mysterio to retain the MITB briefcase. Sheamus defeats The Miz and John Morrison to become the number 1 contender for the WWE Title. Ziggler cashes his MITB in on The Undertaker to become the World Heavyweight Champion and John Cena defeats Ted Dibiase, meaning Dibiase and his investments must leave the WWE.

December

Cena confirms Dibiase and his investments have left the WWE. He asked Orton for a WWE Title match at TLC as a thank you for helping him retain the WWE Title. Orton accepts, so at TLC, it's Cena vs Orton vs Sheamus for the WWE Championship in a TLC match. The Miz and John Morrison feud. Ziggler announces that he's left Raw to go to Smackdown thanks to him winning the World Heavyweight Championship. In exchange, Raw get Drew McIntyre, who feuds with Evan Bourne for the vacated US Title.

At TLC, McIntyre wins the US Title, The Miz defeats John Morrison in a tables match, and Sheamus wins the WWE Championship by winning a TLC match with Randy Orton and John Cena.

January

Sheamus cuts a promo about him becoming the WWE Champion, when the returning Triple H attacks him in revenge for Sheamus injuring him (in real like) Several superstars feud after being announced for the Royal Rumble, including John Cena, Randy Orton, The Miz, John Morrison etc. The following week, Triple H once again attacks Sheamus, and he gets hurt that badly that Sheamus must forfiet the WWE Championship as he's injured for the forceable future. Vince McMahon announces that the WWE Championship will be awarded to the winner of the Royal Rumble. The week before the Rumble, there is a battle royal to determine who is number 30 in the Rumble. John Cena wins.

At the Rumble, Triple H comes out first and is in the final four with The Miz, Randy Orton and number 30. Those three are in the ring awaiting the arrival of John Cena when instead of John Cena, Ted Dibiase comes out as number 30, and wins the Royal Rumble and therefore is the new WWE Champion.

I shall do the RTWM when I'm next online.

CC is a lot better at the moment I think. I just use that re search thing and I never get kicked out.

The Pre Show I uploaded has sound glitches, which I've worked out now (didn't know you had to have to add a 'none song' bit to start a new song if you've carried over a song from a previous scene), so I'll re upload it when I'm back on the game.

Agreed, I can't believe they've not added new scenes too.

You doing any this year? Yours were great last year.

Yeah it's annoying, I hope they don't remove it altogether next year like they did with the GM Mode.

Started a Smackdown series, will probably post it on here when I've finished it.

Excellent! Looking forward to it.

Have you come across any sound glitches? I posted a thread in the general section but no replies as of yet. It's really annoying because they feature they've added where you can carry sound over to the next scene is great, but these glitches are making it impossible to work.

I've figured it out. Every time you want the sound to end you need to add a "none" after it. The next one works fine then.

  • 2 weeks later...

Thanks pal :)

Yeah it's really annoying. There's fewer of them in Month 2 and 3, I think I've found a way to stop it.

Month 3 is up now. Same gamertags as usual.

Any progress with your Smackdown? Ready to play some decent ones now, there are barely any online at the moment.

Just a question to anyone who has played Month 2, (if anyone) have you had trouble with the win scenario of "orange full body?"

My friend couldn't do it on legend mode, but he also couldn't do yellow overall on hard, so either he isn't very good at the game, or overall is more difficult than last years due to them introducing limb targeting.

I think I'm gonna change it to torse or head to make it easier.

I'm gonna upload monthly like you do, have done 3 shows so far so have 1 more then a PPV to do then i'll upload it.

Oh and getting a full orange body on legend difficulty would take a whole lot of time. I'd recommend switching it to just head or torso.
