The giants will absolutely need to make a move for another corner this season if they wanna have any chance at a playoff spot. First Amukamara, now Thomas. Their defensive backs look like theyre in trouble.

If he doesn't pan out, than they blew a supplemental pick, big deal. If he does work, then they have their QB of the future.

A supplemental pick counts as a pick in next year's draft. Ryan Mallett went in the 3rd round. Is he equal to Ryan Mallett?

Impossible. No one is worse than Tim Tebow.

Pryor is. The problem with comparing Pryor to QBs like Kordell or Vick is that they were practically unstoppable in college; Pryor was. Pryor didn't look that impressive in college, even when Tressell loosened his reigns. I don't see Pryor that much better than Tyrod Taylor. Now if you want to compare someone to Vick or Kordell, I'd do with it Robert Griffin III (RG3). The guy is a beast on one of the worst Big 12 teams. He has speed and a rocket arm. His only drawbacks are the system he plays in and injury concerns. Several mock drafts had him going to the Raiders in the 1st round of next year's draft, though with the arrival of Pryor, that's not going to happen.

Pryor has much more upside than Mallett, so there's a chance that he could end up being better than Mallett. Of course, there is the chance that Pryor will end up being nothing, but as I said, drafting him is a low risk-high reward move.

Pryor is already a better passer and athlete than Tebow. Plus, by drafting him now instead of someone else in next years draft, they're giving him an extra year to learn the system and how to be an NFL QB. And even if he doesn't pan out at QB, he can definitely be used as a WR/specialty QB much like Antwaan Randel El

Nah, Giants don't need to get a new DB yet. People forget Aaron Ross is a first round draft pick in 07 who is a top level corner, just plagued by injuries. If hes healthy this year and Webster plays at the level he did in 2007 there will be no problems at all. Right now the only thing lacking is depth.

Apparently Mark Herzlich secured a roster spot with his INT on the goal line last week. He looked great in that game, specifically that game. He threw a receiver off his block than jumped to rip the ball out of the air. Hes going to be realllllllly good.

Hes always doing shit for other people. He takes his fans out to lunch all the time.

Yeah I knew about that kinda stuff so I know it's weird, it just kinda surprised me. Im just wondering now with the PAT/DET game coming up, how many bullshit dirty hit calls and fines the NFL will give Suh to protect the patriots. :shifty:

So the Packers are 1-1 in pre-season. I still can't believe they lost to the Browns :argh:

I mean.. It's preseason, man. You really shouldn't be looking into teams win/loss record. I view preseason like the coaches do; evaluating young talent. Seeing what you got. I try to not even pay ettention to the scoreboard.

Exactly, the Colts have had only like 4 wins in preseason the last couple of years
