Rated J
Just thought I'd ask if it's worth full price?
josesaladbar
i think this is going to come down to one thing-whether you consider a full price purchase worthy due to quantity or quality. the svr games might have more quantity (characters, match types etc) than All stars , but comes out every year plagued with problems: glitches, bad commentary, poor movesets etc. this is the first All Stars game and in my opinion, in terms of quality, its way ahead of svr on its first attempt. Mr. Carlton
I rented because at first i didnt think it'd be worth it but i think i'll be buying soon because this seems like the sort of game that i'll keep going back to, alot like Tekken 5 and Soul Caliber 3. I still play those every couple weeks.
R A T E D.
Depends on where you live. In Australia over here its $88 so hell to the no. $30 is a reasonable price to me.
maskedmaniac
Great graphics? Check Great gameplay? Check Great Online? Check At 20 bucks for each of the above I'd say it's worth the sixty bucks.
kevster
Do a trade in if you can.... Limited modes , PATH of Champions is weak, terrible CAW options Good-- Fantasy warfare is Top Notch, Gameplay is good except for terrible reversal mechanics. Great Graphics. NickRedMachine
-IMO PoC has a lot of replayability, espescially if you want all alternate attires -Exhibition and online is almost endless fun -Creating a caw isn't so bad, I have a pretty nice looking batista and sting -Fantasy Warfare has amazing video packages (not much replayability here, but if you want to see the videos again you can just play again) -Gameplay is the best I've seen since no mercy/day of reckoning

maskedmaniac
If Street Fighter 4 was worth 6o bucks then this game is most definitely worth the money, at it's core SF4 was just 1 on 1 fighting and it sold a ton, this game is the same except with more characters, create a wrestler and cage matches. kevster
not worth 60.
NickRedMachine
not worth 60.00 First you complain about me replying right after you, then you just come back a second time and say without reason it's not worth 60. Right.
kevster
not worth 60.00 First you complain about me replying right after you, then you just come back a second time and say without reason it's not worth 60. Right. yep and here you are again spamming me. Its not worth the 60.00 . I did trade ins and I stand by that. I didn't say not buy the game, but I think trading in to reduce the price is the way to go. Path of Champions is lack luster, Caw is limited and behind the times,...The reversal system is unbalanced.... Im giving my critique....you keep harassing me... its that simple. Shiftygism
The game is totally worth it. So much replay value in the actual gameplay. When was the last time you could say that for a wrestling game?

jeffsvr11
I just got it today and I am very impressed with it.. I also think that it's also great to have if even to hold over till svr12 comes out...will definitely be playing this alot...
jeffsvr11
Yeah i can't wait to play with the rest of the characters.... and to the one arguing about it...did you buy it? if not you can't knock it till you've bought it or atleast rented it... kevster
Yeah i can't wait to play with the rest of the characters.... and to the one arguing about it...did you buy it? if not you can't knock it till you've bought it or atleast rented it... If you're talkin about me... I traded in for it. I WON"T pay full price for this. I liked the Graphics, Fantasy warfare vid packages, and some of the character models..but... I stand by the fact that the Reversal system is flawed or unfairly biased toward cpu as it reverse almost all my reversals ( at least 70% of the time), some characters movesets are horribly inaccurate and the CAW is just way behind the times and limited... plus POC is horrible.. most of it is each path is just 10 matches with 3"segments" with the superstars just standing there in a dark smoky environment talking to the screen...thats it...theres no story there. I've been fair, and when Ign gives it a 7.5 and Gamespot gives it a 7 I think my points are well backed
