Hopefully I can fill you in here if not, but if you do still have a copy of SVR2010. I would appreciate it if you did go back and play Superstar Stories Part 1, 2, 3 and 4. It would help you understand the story and fueds, etc alot better and it would make it easier for me too lol . Also my stories such as "Who attacked Kofi?", "WWE Draft", "Sentenced to Hell Part, 1, 2 and 3" all link into Superstar Stories Part 1, 2, 3 and 4. Good to see you're jumping to SVR2011 and I only have one simple thing to say: - For those who like to play my stories, I HIGHLY recommend you to play this man's as well. Hell, play all the way from SVR2010 until now and I guarantee you won't be disappointed one bit. - If there's one thing I enjoy almost as much as doing my stories, is playing Cashmasters. His latest PPV was off the charts as well, with awesome commentary. Really folks, you have to play this. Take your time Cash and do some good old shows for us . As I didn't really have a show planned as such. All I had as you know was those Promo segments, hopefully people will like what I've done especially the main event, you should all like that. The shows will pick up too as the weeks go on I promise that. Speaking of commentary, I am going to go with that Matt Striker idea even if I have to create him myself (He'll be piss poor if I do it lol but still). Doesn't matter if the CAW is good or bad, what counts is the writting, since he's an announcer and not a superstar. If you need any help just say it. [/quote] Yeah I was doing some of my first show of Smackdown last night and Kofi Kingston, appearing in his blue attire, appeared in purple trunks with black and white boots. I actually put a request out for Matt Striker I'll have to check that to see if anyone has replied, if not then I'll start on him myself. It seems to be coming along nicely. I'm unsure though about a branching scene I've used in Week 1 of RAW, it doesn't seem right. I think it might be why my shows are all weird with Starting Path/Ending Path. Week 1 RAW - Starting Path 0 Ending Path 1 Week 1 Smackdown! - Starting Path 1 Ending Path 1 Week 2 RAW - Starting Path 1 Ending Path 0 (Note; I'm currently in the middle of creating this show). Not that it's bad, because it's not, it's actually a great idea but it simply doesn't caught my attention or interest. In any case, knowing you, your paths will be something for me to learn . linkinbrad Posted January 10, 2011 Report Share Posted January 10, 2011 Sounds awesome, cant wait! If its anthing near as good as Legends WWE Lives then it will be great. The branching thing is tricky. It's obviously a great feature, and its easy to do once you've got the hang of it, but i'm not sure if its worth it. It's good to give the player an option, but in the long run it can make it difficult and sometimes pointless. The trick is to either have branches that end after one show (something along the lines of picking a particular match to play that night) so then you can just have one path, or if its for a completely different route, and you end up having two different stories, then think far enough ahead so when you want to end one of the paths that it joins up perfectly with the other path. For example in my CAS, I have picked a scene in the opening Raw where a particular superstar has a choice of attacking either a heel, or a face and a heel. If he attacks the heel he goes on a feud with him and stays face himself. However if he attacks the face and heel, then he turns heel himself and feuds with both of them. Therefore a created two different stories. However by the end of the 2nd month (I'd carried on both paths to this point) the superstar had turned heel in the 'face' path, so by the start of the 3rd month, the story was the same and I continued it as one. I should hopefully have it up before the end of the month, though I can't guarantee it will be as I will be celebrating my birthday (lolold). I have completed 3 weeks of RAW and Smackdown! and just have the 4th week of both shows to do, I'll start RAW tonight. I know I said I'd have it finished by the end of the month (today) but it should be done end of the week (hopefully). Also it's really tough to create 4 weeks worth of shows, plus I got writers block as I couldn't think of what to have Undertaker say, It's sorted now though. I am also thinking of editing week 1 of RAW as it is saying I don't have a starting point, I'll have to look that up. Oh and one more thing, Booker T or Honky Tonk Man?! It's for a match I'm doing on week 4 Smackdown involving Former Intercontinental Champions, I did this to set up a match with "Dashing" Cody Rhodes at Summerslam as I had nothing else, busy with other fueds, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Haas3-16 Posted February 17, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2011 Updating to tell everyone that I've finshed my storyline (except for week 1, needs fixed) but the thing is my console died last night at 9:55PM while playing Mafia II was just about to switch it off aswell to watch the US Office on comedy central so yeah sadly I can't release the storyline at this time, hopefully I can get someone to remove it and transfer it to another PS3 console and then hopefully I'll be able to get it out to you all.
