HOW TO DO TEXTURE EDITS OF SMACKDOWN VS RAW GAMES

[THIS WAS REQUESTED BY MANY SO FINALLY MADE IT IF U HAVE PROBLEM U CAN POST HERE]

[ADVANCED]

If u are using photoshop then

1 export tm2 as png
2 change image settings to rgb from indexed colour
3 edit it paste new textures do whatever u want
4 flatten image/merge layers
5 change back it to indexed
6 save png
7 open the png with optix
8 save as tm2

N.B.:Advanced if u want to save as 4bit then see image below

9 import tm2 it will be of same size


How to fix alpha:[by Apati]


there should not be any alpha values of 255, all 255 should be changed to 128.
a fast way to do it is:

for example we edit xx_face.tm2 and all alpha values became 255.

- open our edited xx_face.png
- image > color reduction (256 or 16 depending on original texture)
- from menu > LAYER > DISCARD ALPHA CHANNEL
- right click on the palette colors, select save palette
- right click on the image, select copy
- open DEFAULT (exported) xx_face.tm2 (256 colors)
- right click on the palette colors, select load palette
- right click on the image, select paste to image
- again right click on the image, select fix pasting
- save the .tm2

Sounds good to me, I am going to start my first after the hollidys this week, i'm sure it will probably be trial & error , before i get it down right. But i have decided that my first modding attempt will be One half of "The American Wolves" Davey Richards. Wish me Luck

as far as i know jtag/mod is needed for 360 u could easily ask brienj or tekken or use his x-paccer to do this and it is much much more easy to do in 360 than ps2 i only have ps2

Isn't there 3-different pac's? Couldn't you have only edited the entrance attire pac so the shirt was only during the entrance?
