As you can see, the fear people have of there being no transparency leveling is unfounded and if you ask me, foolish. With a little color balancing and shade manipulation, you see what I've done for Dru's iconic tattoo layout. Bare in mind, as of this post, I went back after seeing him in game and further altered the shade to appear a little darker. He still look a might on the long side in game as well, so I'm working on his morphs to give him a lil' more girth. But this is what I've come up with after only 2 hours in CAW mode.

I figured that when it comes to original Caws in SVR11, there would be really no stopping or limitations even if transparency is gone because it pushes Original CAW makers to think much more outside of the box, then they normally would. However, I still believe it's when you make real caws, that things start to get tricky..Anyway well done Kaoz, Dru looks alot more realistic this year, but I must say, with some tweaking on the face, you could have a halfway decent Rhyno there.

I can totally understand your words on the subject of real CAWs. As for Dru's morphs, this year I'm going for more realistic builds for all of my CAWs rather then the comic style embellished body types I and my brother Thr33x are known for.

Are we happy you can finally morph the traps now? Dru truly looks like a human wall now...and I have to say I see no difference between how his ink looks now to last year, so I guess it's all just a matter of getting used the new nuances and working with what we've got, like always?

Someone wanna loan me 20 bucks so I can get this at midnight? lol

Leidhamer will be coming shortly. For now, here come 'Da King Of New York, Mr. Jayson Jones.

Again, color matching and shade manipulation for the ink, and of course I had to fire up PT for his trim. The Jamaican Flag is now one of the selections in the flag category, so I just stretched it out and ran it up the side of the new kickpads.

Can you by chance put up a side by side pic of Dru with say, Randy Orton, so we can see how the RGB adjustments look like against the in-game models?

Here ya' go. After looking at this myself, I could actually stand to lower the shading on the designs to make them appear a bit darker. The RBG color scale will take some getting used to, but I guarantee once you do, you'll forget about transparency completely.

Whatever shade you have Jay-J's ink set to seems to be the optimal choice for blending into that skin tone. Since there are only preset tones this year, it'll just be a matter of finding the right shade for each to get the most realistic looking inkwork.

EDIT: And when you do...share the wealth. lol

They Look Amazing!!!

Will Your Caws be available for Formula this year?

And when will we begin to see your female Caws?
I'm probably not going to be likely to put out any formula, specifically because aside from tattoos, I'm pretty much exclusively using PT logos for the trim and design of my attires. So even if I did type out a formula, it'd be with a plain, generic attire.

Wowwwwwww..... you know I was worried about this transparency problem, but now I'm not worried about at all. These caws look amazing, they really upped the detail and you really make them look good. Questions though is the skull mask still in the game, and how well does the face morphing convert from 2010?

The face and body norphig convert perfectly from 2010, aside from the addition of trap morphing and thefact that arm and leg morphing is now sectioned off into 3 separate categories.

I'm presently in New Jersey spending time with my wife to be, but I'll be back home later tonight, where then I'll post without a doubt the best looking Evan Fate I've ever made. Seriously out did myself with his 2011 look. From there I create Liedhamer and "The Destroyer", and boy do I have plans for the two of them.

Ok, Dru Nedermeyer and Jayson Jones are now up on CC and ready to to rumble. Also uploaded for your consumption is the TaPOuT logo. It's done in basic white, so you can feel free to color it and use it as you wish. Oh yea, don't forget to rate a bruthas work, eh?

You're welcome. :P

Back with some new CAW goodness. Three familiar faces. I won't go into histories or details, most of you already know them already, so we'll just go with the pics.

Always a favorite, and one of my most stylistically designed characters. Vince's lil' boy returns this year with a new tattoo layout since the designs normally used got the axe.

The youngest of the 4 Fierhart males. I basically took the final concept of him from last year and slapped new PT designs on it. As you can no doubt tell, his attire is inspired by Edge & Christian.

My oldest and most iconic character. Pretty much a rework of the final design from 2010.

All three of them are up on CC. Type Oz70NYC CAW as the tag to find them, as well as Jayson Jones and Dru Nedermeyer. More creations to come.

Nice to see the creative juices flowing again.

So wait, how's the colouring system this time around?
The system this year requires a lil' getting used to. You have to basically color match the designs to the skin tone, then raise or drop the shade on them to get the faded/blended in look for the designs on the skin. I actually kinda prefer it more then transparency, as you can see with Simon's ink. It doesn't have the overlapping effect that you'd get layering two designs on top of each other like past games. You can seamlessly combine a number of designs together to make a unique tattoo layout so long as you color match everything evenly.
