Once upon a Time... There were ACTUAL Tag Teams

I kind of made Arn for myself because I didn't see any I really liked and jam75/american dream talked me into doing a Tully after seeing my Arn. So I figured I'd post them on here. Also these are the first and only caws I've done so far with textured faces. So hopefully I'll get better in the next ones I try. Oh. And everything on them was drawn from scratch (blank canvas) in Photoshop except:

Arn Anderson face: I used LOW face (thank you Illegal) as a base. Then tweaked it and blended in a promo pic of Arn on top of it from his WWF Brainbusters days. Also I had to redo the hair because I prefer balding Arn Anderson and not toupee Arn.
Old School Horsemen Logo: I got that off google and then recolored it and added a bevel so it would appear to have depth.
The Horse: I cut out the horse from the only decent pic I could find, then recolored and sharpened and touched it up. But everything else on that shirt design I had to do like the iv, wcw, horsemen. Then aged them so they wouldn't look so new.

So thank you to american dream for his help by giving me a base for Tully's morphs that I could work with. Oh and these are finals, because I'm fresh out of layers because of the jackets and robes. So I can't add anything else even though there are still a few adds I would like to make especially to the red robe. And sorry for the pic quality. I took pictures of my lcd screen using a camera so details may be lost and colors may be off (lighter or darker). I suggest check them out on Live. They are available for download.

Arn Anderson:
Attire 1 - Just his Enforcer attire he wore near the last leg of his career with my favorite horsemen shirt of all time.

Attire 2 - The "jacket" is made of 2 different shirts and a crap ton on in game logos. Unfortunately, even when splitting the logo in 2, I still have that damn invisible seam. I still prefer having that seam than using the hoodie though.

Attire 3 - This is his 2 tone attire from when he was a part of The Enforcers with Larry Zbyszko back around 1991 in WCW. Also it can be used as The Brainbusters attire. I would of made it the Brainbusters attire and given him the jacket, but I wasn't thinking I was going to make Tully at the time.

Attire 4 - Another 2 tone. I got the idea for this one from an old old match when Arn was teaming with Flair against the team of "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton and a rookie Chris Benoit. But he has worn this a couple times in his career after that. Also F crotch blur. It screws with the crotch and the anus... So it's a pain in the *ss. Get it. Bad joke.

Tully Blanchard:
Attire 1 - This attire is from his singles career. He had an awesome singles career before even doing the tag team thing. Great in the ring and just as good on the mic as Flair. And thanks to jam75/american dream for telling me the design on the bottom front of his robe is the same all around. That was a big help because I could use the same 2 part design I already made over and over again. Also they appear to be white because of my camera but it has a silverish foil look to it in reality.

Attire 2 - Another attire from his singles career. He used to wear this alot during his US Title run. Same silverish foil look to it in game. The bottom of his robe isn't 100% accurate because I ran out of layers, so it's missing a few stars/flowers and leaves. I could of made it as one logo, but it would look like crap stretched out.

Attire 3 - This is just the general attire he used to wear when teaming with Arn back in the Horsemen days. Again. Maxed out layers because of that damn jacket.

Attire 4 - The Brainbusters attires. This attire specifically is from WWF Summerslam(fest) '89 against the Hart Foundation. The jacket and the logo I made was from Wrestlemania 5 though. It still works.

Like I said. These are all finals and both are up in Community Creations. So thanks. Maybe I'll make a few more teams and just keep putting them in this post so I don't waste space.

Marry me? And please make more

I'm playing with Arn, and I have a few issues with his moveset.

1) The dropkick in standing strikes. I don't ever remember him doing a dropkick.
2) The rolling neck snap in upper ground grapples, another move he didn't do.

Other than that, a perfect moveset for a perfect CAW. Well done sir.

Thanks. I saw your sig before so I figured you would enjoy this. Either Money Inc or the Beverly Bros are next. But to answer you concerning the 2 moves on the moveset. I kind of made him for myself, so I always add a drop kick. It's useful, basic, and quick. I wasn't planning on advertising him, but i thought yesterday, what the hell. I'll post him. So forgive me. As for the neck snap. He used it very rarely, but I always liked when he did. Here is a vid.

Fair enough. I didn't recall it that's all. And Money Inc would be great, I liked both DiBiase & Rotundo. Beverley Brothers sucked though.

Also, that Wrath you have previewed on Live looks promising.

if it is a texture for the hair any chance of sending it to me to try and create my own paint tool?
they are better tag teams now
cena619.. you must be a kid. Hart Dynasty, Uso's, Dudebusters, & Archer/Hawkins are the only tag teams the WWE has right now. & are no way better than...

The Dudleyz, The Steiners, Road Warriors, Demolition, Money Inc., The Hardy's, E&C, Midnight Express, RnR Express, The Freebirds.. I could go on & on...

sorry, deathbyego, I just had too.

To Lionheart aka Lilsting: Thank you very much. For some reason, it's very difficult to find a decent picture of that shirt you can just cut out and use. It has annoyed me for months. It seems like that it got replaced with the shirt showing Mongo, Benoit, Arn, and Flair pretty quickly. Eventually, I said frak it. I'll just make the damn thing using youtube as a reference.

To The Big LeBroski, Tyrant185, .::Killer.:.Caw::., wrestlekid2k3, .H.: Thanks. Glad you liked them. I'm still surprised I got so many reviews and d/ls for Arn before I even posted it here. I thought I was the only one who wanted him. Go figure.

To Dynomyte and IAMNOMODDER: Thank you. I take it as a big compliment that you guys like them. You do great work. And Dynomyte... Your reply is even better because of the happy clapping Jericho.

To Pac.: Thanks. And probably not. People already have the market cornered when it comes to current stars. I'm going to stick to the late 80s - late 90s. It's really hard for me to get into alot of the current talent. Some are amazing but because of the 7 Deadly Steps all the wrestling companies are using now, I find matches to be very boring or atleast repetitive. It's difficult to get behind that. And it's not the talents' fault. Its the people in charge. I tend to make people I really like and don't see too often. So sorry.

To Spinebuster_94: Phew.. Bryan Clark. I put that preview up months ago. Never finished him, because the Adam Bomb attires were annoying me. Especially the fake tattoo he had. I haven't touched him since then. I took a break and started doing a few more Original CAWs. I might revisit him. Then I can make the Rare Oddities (Mortis and Wrath). It's a shame that you can't have different hair styles for different attires. It's difficult to make multi-purpose (ex: Wrath, Adam Bomb, Bryan Clark all on one slot) caws when you can only use one hair style.

To Cena619DX: Thank you for the compliment. As for the "better tag teams now" comment... That's more a personal preference and depends on how long a person has been watching wrestling. I personally think that tag teams were better in the 80s to even the early 2000s. But what I meant in my subject title was that there are no tag teams anymore. And the tag teams we do get are made of 2 established singles wrestlers that they don't know what to do with anymore. WWE hates tag teams. They always break them up. The reason they are doing the unified titles is because they don't have enough teams to warrant 2 separate titles (yet the women's division needs 2?! come on).
I think the WWE has 4 actual teams right now.
TNA has a hand full. But the Band shouldn't even count. I was a big Outsiders fan and I appreciate Nash trying to get the younger people over nowadays, but it's time to hang up the boots. Team 3D... I've been marking for the Dudley Boys forever. Ever since Bubba Ray uttered his first stuttered "Buh..Buh... Buhh." And then they got Joel Gertner and became one of my top 3 heels of all time. But they just don't have it anymore. They should think about hanging it up too. So that leaves.. Beer Money, Ink Inc, Motor City MGs... It's a shame that I can't think of anymore off the top of my head, but that says alot about their division.
ROH: Used to have the best tag division. But they have been breaking people up and talent has been moving on to the big leagues.
I used to love tag matches.. but the days of tag teams are gone, in favor of supporting egos and trying to make someone the next Shawn Michaels.

Finally to The Big LeBroski and american dream concerning ^: I'm on your side of the coin here. And american dream.. I just read your tag team post right after I typed the words "Shawn Michaels". Funny. We couldn't be any more on the same page when it comes to this subject.

I know. I already mentioned why he has a dropkick. And the ddt and spinebuster are his finishers in life and on the caw. Also Arn always had a hard on for working someone's arm. No idea why. While he did go work on someone's back every once and a while, most of the time it was the one arm. So I gave him plenty of back and arm wear downs.

Hmm.. Badd Company. Good suggestion. I'll check out some of their attires since my memory is a little foggy. If I can find some fun ones to make, I'll definitely consider it.
