Hi all,

Just an update on the site errors. Since we upgraded to the new version of the Invision Board software we have been hit by some weird errors, most commonly redirecting you to the CAWs.ws home page.

So far, we have not had too much luck in sorting it out as the problem has been extremely difficult to detect.

I have escalated the problem to Invision but they are not being very helpful at the moment, which is not normally like them and it is making my job harder to try and fix it.

I have tried several things, which in some cases, we made the problem worse, so I apologise for the various downtime over the last couple of days while I tried things out.

Anyway, I have not forgotten, I am on the problem for several hours a day trying different things so please bear with me.

I started this thread yesterday in order to try and track times and dates this is happening so I can look in the server logs. If you can still report there that would be great.

Everytime I try to edit my post it wont work. Like I click save changes and it keeps on saying loading and when you use full editor and click save it takes forever to load.

The other problem you already know is once you submit a post it takes forever to post it and take me to the main site.

Damn, forgot to report my errors, but I made a post yesterday that never saw the light of day, and later on, my browser just refused to connect to CAWs >_> I'll take a note of it next time. Still though, it's improving, a lot better than it was before.

500 Internal Error has come back to haunt me it would seem.

The 500 internal error is the same as the redirect to home page error, but it now shows 500 error as it is less confusing than it redirecting, and is more useful for me to see as well.

If you see this error, please post here quoting the EXACT time you saw it: http://caws.ws/forum..._gopid__7038811
This will allow me to search our error logs for the exact error that you encountered and assist me in finding the cause of the problem.

Yeah, I noticed about 2 days ago that the site has been running very smoothly.

I can say the same thing. Now when I click the Post button I get redirected back to the topic with my post. I don't get sent to the Home page.

the site keeps giving me an error everytime i search
