I don't like trying to call such a thing, but Modern Warfare 2 surely seems like the potential Game of the Year for sure.

Unless Borderlands absolutely lives up to all it's hype. Though I'm skeptical.

Love how they are creating controllers for PCs. I HATE using a keyboard and mouse with a passion. The fact that every bloody PC game is incompatible with controllers really put me off PC gaming.

Dual wielding deagles sounds awesome =D so glad I preordered this.

You should add the Special Forces mode info from IGN. Thats where I learned it but this is my wording of it.
Special Forces mode will be similiar to the epilogue mission in COD 4 Modern Warfare. The one where you are on the plane and must rescue the hostage. You can play the mode single player, locale split screen, or online. The missions will be small like the one from Modern Warfare but might not always have a time limit. The one shown on a demo featured a map that you just had to survive and get to the end. At the beginning is a weapon pile like from Left 4 Dead. You get points for completing the mission which help you unlock more levels. It is unknown how many missions there will be.
Again the source is IGN.com. I personally think this mode will be great even though the missions are going to be fairly short. I also think there will be plenty of levels since they are very short.

Dude cheers for putting my version of Spec Ops mode. I thought you would go on IGN to get the actual article but I guess not.

Any way is anyone like super excited for this game. Like you wanna go rob the company and get it early? JK but I am super excited and cant wait for this game to come out. I wish it came out like September or October. Its not too far away but still. Oh yeah it comes out Nov.10 so thats some info you could add.

just thought i would add this to the special ops mission thing you have got there

Modern Warfare 2 will feature a cooperative mode entitled Special Ops, which consists of independent missions similar in design to the "Mile High Club" epilogue mission from Call of Duty 4. These missions will take place in a variety of locations from the campaign mode, but are related to story of the campaign itself. Special Ops supports cooperative play for up to two players and can be played alone, in split-screen locally with another player, or online with another player. It includes such scenarios as a snowmobile race, a battle alongside U.S. Navy SEALs, and fending off a wave of 50 enemies at once.

Special Ops is divided into separate groups of missions with changeable difficulty levels. The third group, "Charlie", includes the mission "Breach and Clear", where the objective is to just make it to the end of the level. At the beginning of a mission, players select what weapon to use from several scattered around a room before the actual mission commences. Once a choice has been made, a nearby wall is breached and the mission begins. At the end of each mission, a statistics screen displays how long the player took to complete the level and how many kills were scored. Successfully completing a mission earns the player stars, with missions completed on Veteran difficulty rewarding up to three stars. These stars can be used to unlock further missions in the mode

DLC
Activision announced that two downloadable map packs will be released for Modern Warfare 2. Microsoft stated at E3 2009 that these map packs would be made available for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live before they would be released for other platforms. Robert Bowling said that community response to the game and the first two downloadable map packs would be used in designing other potential map packs

a nice touch
Infinity Ward has addressed the issue of enemies that continually respawn at different points of a level. The developer demonstrated that the game engine uses a "dynamic AI," which has replaced the respawn system and allows enemies to act more independently. These "smarter" enemies are designed to actively seek and drive the player forward through a level, and can break away from set behaviors such as following a designated route in order to attack more quickly. The player cannot depend on an enemy being in the same location because enemies will behave differently each time a level is played

hating that the n00btube seems to be a ton more accurate then MW which is going to suck so bad, can i ask why is there a reason to have two desert eagles i mean one kills you in one shot so whats the point in two and im guessing it goes by the shoot with L trigger for left gun and shoot with R trigger for right

can someone tell me when they charge with the sheild and what screen it is, theres to much going on and quality isnt all that
