Answers to some questions:
Questions about Superstars..
The complete roster has not yet been announced, but we'll be updating this page as more Superstars are confirmed: http://www.thq.com/u...hsupport/5534/1
The roster is going to be revealed on the 16th September, over on Gamespot.
"We have a roster of over 60 characters" - from the Team Xbox interview.
Q. "Can you say when gameplay videos are going to be released?"
A. The first trailer uses all in-game engine. But, we'll have more videos over the coming weeks showing more detail on some of the game modes.
Q. Are you going to bring back all of the moves removed over the years - specifically for legends like Hogan's leg drop?
A. There will be plenty of new moves in the game, but we're not talking about specific moves and finishers yet.
Q. Which finishers have been updated?
A. Some of the finishers have been updated, but we're not going to be talking about these just yet.
Q. In SvR 2010 will we be able to edit ingame superstars like they're CAWs? Or like, small color edits?
A. You won't have full editing abilities, but you can create alternate costumes for them.
Q. Is still possible to create a finisher with 100000 chokes getting the opponent instantly DEAD? That was lame
A. When you're creating a finisher you won't be able to use the same move in every slot.
Q. Will Create A Finisher include diving, submission, Behind, or Turnbuckle Finishers?
A. Diving, behind and turnbuckle moves are all in. Not sure about submission moves.
Q. In CAW mode, will you be able to put "Wrestling Tight Designs" on "Bottoms" and not just "Wrestling Tights" for PS3.
A. Yes.
Q. What is the 3D tool?
A. It's not a tool as such, but it does mean that any logo you create will react naturally with the clothing.
Create-A-Story:
Various questions about this, understandably..
Q. Could someone tell us more about the create a storyline?
A. The Gamespot article does a good job of describing this: http://uk.gamespot.com/sports/blogs/sports...on-is-king.html
Q. Is design a story for exhibition. I read the gamespot preview but didn't quite figure out if its a mode or you can do it in exhibition?
A. It's a completely separate mode in the game.
Q. is this story mode/rtwm for all caws (males & females?) so, i can play a story mode with my diva caw?
A. Yep, you can use any created Superstars - including divas - in the Design-A-Story mode.
Q. i didnt understand what did they mean with "design a broadcast" ?
Q. Is Design a Story supposed to be like 'design a full episode of ECW/SD!/Raw' or is it creating your own Road to Wrestlemania?
A. It's similar to Road to WrestleMania, so multiple shows rather than a one-off episode. The Gamespot article has all of the info we're allowed to talk about so far on Create-A-Story: http://uk.gamespot.com/sports/blogs/sports...on-is-king.html
Q. Anybody know if the highlight reel's still in?
A. Yep, it's still in!
You can also use the highlight reel to create your entrance..
Q. Is Create an Arena going to be in?
A. No, sorry, you won't be able to create your own arena.
Q. Still max 6 people on the screen? (4 online)
Q. Will the Wii have online play?
A. We're not allowed to talk about multiplayer yet.
Q. Can we use designs on our caws online again? "the sharing online in this article states that you can upload your caws online even edited superstar attires "
Q. If we are able to create a superstar logo, can we put them online?
A. Yes
Q. Pre-orders - Play.com The Rock....Gamestop Stone Cold But can you get both super stars? Unlock codes if you don't preorder?
A. There are currently no plans to release the unlocks, so it's pre-order only.
Q. Banners for Legends of Wrestlemania – does this mean a sequel?
A. There are currently no plans for a sequel. If it does happen, we'll be sure to shout about it.
Q: Are the caw mode items from LOW such as hair, tights, boots and other accessories gonna be in SvR 2010 ?
A: You will be able to pick from a variety of hari styles, tights, boots and other accessories, but we're not talking about specific items yet.
Q. Is there anyway of downloading caws from previous games, for example one of my orginal caws from SVR09 so I wouldn't have to through the hassel of creating him all over again?
A. No, there have been significant changes to the way the Create-A-Superstar system works, so you won't be able to carry across to WWE 2010.
Q. Will X costume item be in the game?
A. There are a lot of costume items in the game! As for specific items, you'll have to wait and see, but we don't think you'll be disappointed!

A. No, sorry, you won't be able to create your own arena.
Q. Why is there no pics out for ps2 version of svr2010?, there is for wii,ps3,xbox,ds but not for ps2.
A. We don't have any screenshots for this version yet, but will be releasing some in the future.
Q. Will there be Superstar or item DLC?
A. We're not talking about this yet, DLC is not confirmed.
Q. Will X Superstar be in the game?
A. There will be 60+ Superstars. The complete roster has not yet been announced, we'll be updating this page as more Superstars are confirmed: http://www.thq.com/u...hsupport/5534/1

A. Soon! We'll be updating this page as more Superstars are confirmed: http://www.thq.com/u...hsupport/5534/1
Q. Is there an option in the Superstar Threads that you can put Alternate Attires; I mean like, if Jericho has two attires, can we choose between which one is used for in-game action?
Q. how many slots will there be for the edited attires for each superstar? Only one alternative attire each?
A. There are three slots for Superstar threads, you'll be able to pick which one you use in the match.
Format differences
PSP and PS2 do not have…
- Superstar Threads
- Paint Tool and the CAS parts are not 3D
PSP and PS2 do have…
- Create-A-Wrestler
- Create-A-Story (Up to 55 matches and scenes)
This is all the info I've got on this.
I'm sorry if there has been any confusion about the differences between formats.
Trophies and Achievements:
There's an exclusive look at the PS3 trophies via Sixth Axis here
Achievements on xbox360achievements here
Can you put tattoos on stars who already exist in the game - no
Can you copy in-game superstars as templates for caws - no - There are templates for caws, but these are sample superstars' bodies, rather than named stars. You can only edit in-game superstars threads, not their bodies.
Is there face morphing or only face models - you can adjust individual features on the face (height, width, depth etc)
Does every item cost points - no - basic clothes are free, small accessories cost a few points, hair costs around 16 points.. larger items like jackets can cost up to 24 points.
Any way to get more points? no
Can you reverse a pattern or only rotate and resize - no, you can't reverse a pattern.
Does the 48 points count across all three attires? No, you get 48 points for each, but some items are on all attires, eg, hair and some accessories.
I created my character with long black hair, costing 16 points. This appeared in each of her attires, using up the same 16 points on each. Changing the hair would replace it in all attires.
As to whether there are enough points - I felt there was enough to create an individual looking CAW, with differences between all three attires. I had a basic wrestling attire, tattoos, a mask, shoes, belt, bracelet and long nails, then a long coat and logo-covered beret for entrance, and still had points left over.
Do you have to play the matches in create a story, or can you just watch? - you can either play OR watch the match
Can you edit your story? Yes, you can go back and change or add to your story.
Can you put a title on the line in a match? Yes.
