Nike The Bike Posted February 15, 2006 Report Share Posted February 15, 2006 Realistic movesets by Nike The Bike for Smackdown Vs RAW 2006 Visit the site at [url="http://www.svr2006.rr.nu"]http://www.svr2006.rr.nu[/url] All movesets I have made are made from moves that I've actually seen the wrestlers do. I analyze matches by watching and typing down every move the wrestlers do and how often they do them. When compiling the movesets I try to put in moves in a way that makes them, if they do a bodyslam twice as often as a suplex in real life, also do it that way in the game, that is make the computer behave as realistic as possible. I make it this way to reflect real life matches more. A wrestler has some moves in his moveset that he rarely ever does and some other that he executes 3-5 times as many times as others (or punches that in the WWE can make up 60-80% of the moves a wrestler does in a match). I want a simulation where move frequency is somewhat realistic and not just a moveset that is a list of moves where the chance of doing every move is equally large. Therefor I sometimes on purpose leave out a move to have him do another move more often. This makes for a much more realistic match, believe me. This is how I make my movesets. I go for realism, not to get in every move in a wrestlers moveset. There are too many movesets out there that look like crap when you play against the computer with wrestlers all the time doing moves they NEVER or hardly ever do in real life. Now these movesets also have new grapple-tie-up animations that makes them even more realistic. All movesets taken from my site before 2006-01-20 needs to be redone to be up to date because of this. Pretty much everyone (bar Austin, Rock and maybe Mankind) have awful movesets. I'm particularly interested in a Hogan 80's moveset just for them to be different. I might get some old matches but I hardly have time for analyzing even the regular RAW and SD! shows right now so to answer your question, no he is not my top priority right now. He will definitely come eventually though. We'll see which ones I'll do. Right now my plans are to do atleast The Rock, Austin, Lesnar, The Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage. I might do more aswell if my spare time allows me. We'll see what I'll do with Hogan but to be honest, the current moveset would not be wrong for an 80's Hogan in any way. The moves that are in are moves he has used throughout his entire career even though it's based on more recent matches. However the finishers should be switched around. For 80's Hogan use two atomic legdrops without the taunt, for Hollywood use the taunting version as his second finisher and the other one as his first finisher. According to the moveset, it does 8 damage to head and body, and 6 to the legs. The STF1 targets the legs more and does barely any damage to the body. He's such an athletic showman that most people make him crazy superhuman. Don't get me wrong, he's a superhero, it's just that i've never seen a moveset realistically deal with his technical side, or realistically portray his high-energy abilities! I guess that's a challange. The gauntlet has been thrown down! On another note, youtube.com would make an excellent resource for your legend movesets and movesets in general, that is if you're not already using it. Hopefully you'll be satisfied when it's ready... I've got a great collection of old matches, so I probably have enough matches for the legends I've planned already, but still, thanks for the tip. It probably won't be too far away until I can release my first version because the guy uses a lot of moves in his matches... Now for other things... For my Goldberg moveset, you need a CAW. I did some pictures of the Goldberg CAW I use myself. It's a merge between the one by WJT/Zurick and the one by Nikomad with some small touches made by me. I personally think it turned out great. However I'm posting some pictures here if someone's interested. If someone wants a formula I might just do one some day. However, ofcourse with full credit to the original creators. The CAW looks great ingame, I think it looks just like an ingame wrestler. Has one small flaw though, a little dark spot on his head that you might see in his entrance, but it doesn't bother me and you can hardly notice it at all.
