Ok what is this topic? Well basically I'm creating this as a general topic to discuss matters such as how to defeat certain people in story mode, what the entrance templates are and other issues which there are repeat topics about such as how to do a certain move.

Entrance pre-set list

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

1) Standard walking. Some fireworks.
2) Billy Gunn style, slaps his ass.
3) Drops to a knee, kind of like a Booker T thing.
4) Generic muscle stance.
5) Hyper active.
6) 3LK music, so Road Dogg or Ron Killings entrance.
7) Dark kinda slow walk. Vampire like.
8) Comes out scared of cameras, like Eric Young.
9) Hardcore slaps head.
10) Standard, but with Sonjay Dutt's old music.

How I beat Jeff Jarrett (By Mr E. Nygma)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
-Use alot of quick grapples and strong punches/kicks early on.
-Try to avoid using strong grapples and springboard attacks early in the match as he will counter these with ease.
-If you don't mind changing your finisher change it to something without a pin (this will leave him stunned on the floor allowing you to get in a few free shots before he shakes of the cobwebs)
-Once he's in dark yellow/orange start to throw in one or two springboards and strong grapples (mix it up so he doesn't know where you are going to hit him from next)
-Also if he goes out of the ring for whatever reason (for example you launched his sorry self over the rope with a sweet back body drop) don't wait for him to return to the ring go out with him and whip/strong grapple him into the ring/barricade (the interactivity of this game is astounding once you get used to it)
-Stay on him don't give him a chance to get up (small tip that works with most of the AI use two stomps/punches while he's down, then hit your strong modifier button and smack him with an elbow drop/leg drop/flipping senton as these are unblockable to the best of my knowledge, yes it's cheap but it works and you wouldn't be reading this guide if you didn't need help right?)
-Oh no. He's Got A Finisher! Don't panic here you have two options. The first one is if you have low body damage let him hit it. That might sound crazy but there's method to my madness, if he hit's you with The Stroke his iMPACT! bar empties whereas if he loses his finisher he gets half of it re-filled. Your second option is the cheap method, out of the ring as fast as you can and run like a headless chicken, make him fall over the steps whatever keeps him away from you till he loses that finisher.
-Follow this guide and of course use your reversals. Once he's been hit with 2-3 finishers the victory is as good as yours.

Mr E. Nygma's Tag Team Tips
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
-I really reccomend using a non-pinning finisher on your CAW. This way once you hit one of the CPU with your finisher he will stay stunned allowing you to get a few free shots in.
-Be cheap run away when the CPU gets a finisher run away till he loses it.
-Use the quick arm drag (Away from the opponent and Y/Triangle) and unreverseable attacks (such as the jawbreaker) alot.
-Work on them till one of their body parts is dark red.
-Once one of their body parts is red vary rarely will their tag partner come in to break up the pinfall.
-Another sound tactic is to try and prevent a tag between the AI.
-Also chairs are your friend.

StylesClashX's Tips
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
Jarret: I switched all grabs 4# and up to an irreversable, like a clothesline, and kept using them.
When he gets his finisher stay on the ground and reverse whenever he grabs you, then run away.

AJ & Tomko: I battled out of the ring, switch to Eric Young first though, then when they get there finishers run around the ring, like with Jarret.

Team 3D: Pretty much the same as AJ Styles & Tomko

LAX: Pretty much a normal match, I believe I beat these guys on my first try.

Guide to an easy win Ultimate X Online by PunisherLH:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I have a 33 Win Streak from doing this, And its easy, Its around 2-5 minute games usually. I suggest you use somebody who has a Non Pin Finisher. Ex.

Brother Ray - Bubba Bomb, Brother Devon - Reverse DDT, Jay Lethal - Lethal Injection, Suicide - DOA...The list continues.

Once you hit your finisher, Its expected they will be down for approximately 5-12 Seconds, Depending how fast they can move the Analogue stick. You should get your meter up between 1/4 - 1/2 Before the guy gets on the cables, Simply fill his stun meter up or knock him down from the cables

Young Mula Baby! Tips for defeating Jarret

Did the jawbreaker quick grapple with Y then strong strikes on the ground over and over again takes a while but you should never get hit, just keep doing it till you get a finisher and he's torso is red.

This is how I beat Jarrett:

I rushed at him and dropkicked him
While he's on the ground, punch and kick him
Elbow his head 1-2 times
Use the head submission move

That's basically what I did. Just keep repeating these steps, but play smart. I made him tap out eventually

-Losing in story mode early on? Too embarassed to talk about it here? Get yourself out of the ring grab a chair and n00b that sucka till he fights back no more.

-If your fed up of that CPU kicking out of your finisher quickly switch your finisher to a non pinning move then while he's down get in some free stomps and a free strong grapple. Of course if you have the CPU down you could just stand there taunting him. (This actually reduces your stun meter also )

No problem, i mean, before you the iMPACT! forum hardly had any steady mods, unlike the SvR forum.

Now, the iMPACT! forum isnt such a warzone of flaming, useless and repeated topics, and generally chaos.

Thanks SCX and Spinebuster_94 nice to know I'm appreciated.

Also I'm looking to add a guide to defeating Jarrett, Styles & Tomko, LAX & Team 3D as they seem to be the main problems in storymode so if anybody can think of any suggestions for that it will be greatly appreciated. How you beat them for example?
