I will say that if this was a higher up call by someone higher than the devs, then I don't see Status getting unbanded. At best maybe they lighten his band to a few months but by then wouldn't 2K25 be coming out soon anyways unless do bands carry over from game to game?

What is exactly "all this time messing with Status"? Cornell was let go as part of massive, company wide layoffs. But yeah, I'm sure it's all about Status and mods. Most people are pretty happy with the state of the game, but that's beside the point. Even if 2K24 was 2K20-level "broken", that still has nothing to do with banning someone for repeated ToS violations. If anything, it looks like they went out of their way to avoid banning him by putting things in place to prevent him and others from doing things they can't have in their game. Eventually, they had to do what they had to do. They should definitely get rid of porn and hate imagery on CC. That doesn't have anything to do with banning Status, though. Full disclosure, I'm not a content creator. I have no reason to want to be a Nextmaker. I'm not selling anything. I have no content that requires exposure. I know this is your go to every time someone doesn't agree with your rants against 2K, but it makes no sense in regards to me. I'm not the wannabe WWE Games content creator here, Jeff. I stand by the things I defended. I'm still waiting on that huge mountain of obscure "legends" we can only get from Showcase, I still don't understand why a handful of people are so worked up about that fireworks cutscene, and I still think someone repeatedly violating the ToS getting banned is the least surprising thing ever. I also stand by the things I've criticized. I still think Story Designer is long overdue, I still think Universe should be merged into MyGM, and I've been complaining about little things like Rey Mysterio Jr not having an accurate finisher for years. I'm critical of plenty of things, I'm just high on the series the past few years because a lot of the things I've complained about for years (stamina, selling, GM Mode) have gotten a lot of attention. I'm not KiSsInG ThEiR AsS, I just have a different opinion than you. You seem to have an unusually hard time with that. "All your friends" agree with you because they're your friends. When you live in the personally curated bubble that is social media, it's easy to convince yourself that "everyone" agrees with you. The post I was replying to seemed to be saying "They ban Status, but THIS is OK?!". Just saying it isn't, but that's not a reason to not ban Status.

I think it's only a shame that WWE undervalued him and kept him on the roster to waste valuable time. I really think we should stop looking at every release as a sad or "bad" thing. The landscape of pro wrestling in 2024 is absolutely insane. If a performer has undeniable talent, they won't be able to walk down the street without tripping on an opportunity. A guy like Trevor Lee would be highly valued in any number of places. Probably not AEW, just because they really don't need another midcard guy. But, definitely NJPW or TNA...or even RoH or GCW.

I wasn’t insulting anyone but he/she has been doing this since the 2k forums. Whatever it is he/she always defends 2k. first it was defending the removal of showcase then the removal of show intros now this status situation where exactly do we draw the line? and all my friends on twitter share my same exact views about Saturn. But that’s ok this is why I don’t post here that often anymore. Plus it’s not as if people actually respond to me anyway.

1. The police hardly will pull you over going 10 over the limit. They can but most of the time they won’t 2. they told him that uploading hidden models was fine he even posted the conversation in 2k22 and 2k23 3. The issue is that they devote all their time and energy to banning a guy making the game better yet they can’t fix issues with logos, the logo limit caa, caw mode crashing etc. that’s the difference. For that reason I willl stand with status. I’ve had private conversations with the guy. I know exactly what he was allowed to do and what he wasn’t. Btw he was the only person who did not upload Lesnar or Vince.

Oh ffs. you’re completely missing the point. - they spent all this time messing with status but haven’t bothered fixing their game - status was ousted right after mentioning having discussions with Cornell about modding - Cornell was fired after status mentioned having said discussions. - status was banned not even a week after Cornell was fired. - there’s still porno and NSFW images all over CC. spin it however the hell you want it but this is wrong on so many levels. there is a reason why “free status” was the number one trend between last night and today on both Facebook and twitter. you will not be winning this argument

Honestly I don't see 2K or whoever change their stance on this. Yeah some creators might leave over this but the average casual player doesn't know or care, kids aren't going care, and since this is only wrestling game series till the wrestling code comes out.

They should also ban those accounts. Doesn't change anything about Status.
