This is "trending" in your For You tab if the algorithm puts you in the WWE Games grouping. For reference, "Community Creations" currently sits at 1,271 posts. It's "trending" in the bubble. It isn't huge blowback" in the grand scheme of things. It's only "huge" in the bubble.

Well i think at this point they should unban him and give him a warning, considering all the blowback on social media, #Freestatus has been trending for nearly 2 days now, and community creations is currently the top trend, tons of creators are backing him, some are stop playing the game, twitter is filled with pics of profanity and nudity thats on CC while Status is banned for way less offensive stuff. Some of their Next Makers are even quitting. 2K is being shit on big time for this, they actually made a post saying something like "We can't tolerate actions that are negatively impacting players enjoyment of the game" or something to that effect, which is utterly ridiculous, players love mods and that tweet was met with a TON of backlash. Status did tweet that WWEgames have followed him again after they had him unfollowed, so maybe thats a sign they're gonna unban him at some point here.

I'm agnostic when it comes to IG. But it's expressly stated in the ToS that it's a no-no. It's not surprising that WWE is big on it, especially with them going so hard on PR right now. 2K clearly drew a line, and people crossed it. So now 2K is doing exactly what they said they'd do if people crossed the line. It's like if a YouTuber broke an embargo. How you feel about the embargo is irrelevant. A line was drawn, and there are consequences to crossing it. It's really that simple. None of this should be surprising or controversial.

It just annoys the hell out of me that they're willing to come down on him for TOS violations but can't be bothered to fix bugs they've already fixed before (and somehow managed to re-break). Their priorities are infuriating.

The intergender thing is kinda funny considering WWE have often had the men and women take moves from one another, Orton's RKO'ed alot of women, Rhea has hit the men, women have entered the mens Rumble, i don't see it being that outrageous to make that possible in the game. I mean Fight Forever has intergender wrestling, theres no outrage or protests no ones offended, its not a big deal.

Dude, come on. It's obviously the IG stuff that crossed the line. We all know why WWE doesn't want people to have the ability to make clips of Vince and Brock beating the hell out of Liv Morgan in their video game. Acting like this is over man buns and audio files is ridiculous. The whataboutisms don't change anything either. This just shows that more people need to be banned.

I just don't see how so many can keep posting stuff like this and 2K not realize how ridiculous they're being So much stuff is left on CC, porn, slurs, nude models, but a CAW with a hidden crowd audio attached to its taunt, or Roman with a man bun is grounds for a ban, just shit thats help keeping the game fun and updated and not hurting or offending anyone.

I don't fully see it happening, but I don’t see 2K changing their stance on this or publicly coming put and apologize or anything like that. If banning Status was a higher up call he's not getting unbanned.

Nah that would hurt the sells of the PC pool too much if they did that, cause then no one would have much reason to get it on PC. And i don't see them stop making it on PC cause i imagine its a big seller on there.

This is why I'm not losing it over 2K cracking down on modders violating ToS. Better we lose the mods, or the modders for that matter, than lose cross platform CC.

I feel like instead embracing mods like people want this is going lead to 2K going f it and just cut CC from PC versions or just stop making a PC version of these games all together.

It seems people are regretting the "They're TaRgEtInG sTaTuS! Why don't they ban other people breaking ToS?!" talking point now.

I mean I honestly just see a lot creators/modders possibly end up leaving and going back to older games. Most of us already have the game and not playing or creating anymore isn't going to change anything on 2Ks end.

also here's something else to consider: i think it's safe to say the war is on guys. choose a side.

If they really wanted to help the community,they'd should either make a website that we can express our concerns to or reach out to key creators etc and get theire opinions and such.. And no, not talking about the nextmakers program..
